ReeHeld - Long Exposure Camera 4+

I really like this app it makes taking long exposures very easy. Normally does it do a good job when your hand hold your phone, it also does a really good job when you have your phone and a tripod and it will when you hit the shutter button will give you like three seconds to sturdy your hand if you’re shooting handheld. My only complaint about this app and hopefully the developer will read my review. I cannot use my Bluetooth remote to trigger the shutter. I looked through the settings and could not find anything to set it up so hopefully the developer can let me know if this can be done or if it will be a feature in the future that they will add. All in all this is one of the best apps I’ve bought, and I’m quite satisfied with my purchase.

Regarding the bluetooth, since ReeHeld is not intended to be used on a tripod but rather hand-held, we will most probably not implement bluetooth control, as once again the goal of the apps is to be used as a point-and-shoot camera app, shooting with your hand.

Amazing results for when it’s not convenient or possible to use a tripod. I wanted to have the metadata record how long the exposure was, and reached out to the developers, who said it will be in an upcoming release. For some reason all my pictures taken with the app are sideways and need rotating to be oriented correctly. Not a huge deal. Right now it only saves files as JPEG, I’m also hoping they can add other file saving options. Those things keep it from being a five star app for me, but the bottom line is the app does what it says very well.

Indeed EXIF metadata will be implemented in the new 1.1 release which will release very shortly. Regarding the TIFF/HEIF formats, we’ll look to add these in the near future. Lastly, for the pictures showing as sideways, that’s very odd and has not happened to any other user so far. Let us look into this and we’ll get back soon.

No where in the description does this mention that it is a trial and then locked behind a subscription. Mention your subscription prices up front if you’re going to paywall your app. Really tired of developers pulling this. Please note, this is not because your app isn’t free. You should absolutely charge for your app! It’s full of what seem like great features. The issue here is that you aren’t up front with your prices. If I go to a store to purchase an item, but no price is listed for it, I’m not going to buy it. I’m not going to walk it all the way up to the checkout to find out the price in order to decide. Per your response to other people pointing this out, I have carefully read the apps description on its entirety, I do not see a listed price. Could it be in one of the many many links?

ReeHeld offers 10 photos for free to give the user a chance to try the app. All apps that offer a free trial are free to download as per the App Store rules, this is standard practice (not sure how you would do it otherwise). Also, all prices are listed in the section “in-app purchases” on the App Store.
