Description
Welcome to Assembly Line 2, the sequel to the factory-building and managing game.
Assembly Line 2 combines elements from idle and tycoon games. Make the most money by using different types of machines to build an assembly line to craft resources and sell them. Unlock upgrades to make it more efficient and expand your factory.
The goal is simple, build resources and sell them. Starting with a few machines and very basic resources, and using them with more advanced machines to craft and create more complex resources.
Your factory will continue generating money even when you are offline. When you return to the game you will have piles of money waiting for you, but don't spend it all in one place!
While Assembly Line 2 is an idle game, because you make the layout of your factory, it is up to you to optimize it to make the most money possible.
Don't worry if you get lost with all those machines to build, the game offers an information menu so you can see what each machine does at any time. It also offers information on each resource price, so you can make decisions on what to craft. You can also see stats on the amount you are producing.
Features:
- 21 different machines to build and optimize the best factory.
- Tons of upgrades to increase productivity.
- Around 50 different unique resources to craft.
- Multi-language support.
- Backup your progress.
- No internet required.

Ratings and Reviews
Great game, save for a nitpick detail
This game is absolutely amazing, just like all the other reviews say it is. I would recommend downloading 10/10 times, and if I could give it more than one 5 star rating, I would!
The pacing of the games progression is very well balanced, not to fast that you’re being overwhelmed by information and new, and more expensive, items, but also not so slow that it takes forever just to unlock the next machine/ craftable item. Additionally, there are no constant banner ads or pop up ads to interrupt your concentration when building a particularly complex setup. To top it off, not only are the ads that are in the game entirely voluntary to watch, but you actually get rewarded with in game currency for doing so!
However, having said that, the rewards for the ads in the late game (about the A.I. Robot point and onward) don’t make it really worth while to watch them. At this point, in order to purchase the cheapest expansion for one of my 6 lines, it’ll cost me ~6.5 trillion and the most expensive will cost me ~124 trillion. Given what I’m making by selling things, which is about 90 million/second, in 60 seconds, i’ll have made 5.4 billion. Meanwhile the rewards for watching the ads are, more often than not, less than that.
WOW!
This game looked good, but I didn’t expect it to be so completely amazing. These automation type games are great, but I have struggled with just how complex they are, and how time consuming it can be just to experiment with efficient layouts. This game lets you completely erase everything you’ve built, allowing you to work on new designs, but it doesn’t just get rid of your old work, it continues producing money and you can always bring it back, until you finally commit to a new design. This mechanic makes me so much more willing to experiment and learn how to do things because there’s no fear of eliminating your progress, and that’s the whole fun of it I think, aside from watching numbers go up. Another great aspect to it which adds to the experience is that the progression is really good about giving you time to learn so that you aren’t overwhelmed. And to top it off there’s no mandatory ads. I can tell this game was made out of real passion, not just to squeeze money out of you. 100% recommend: this game should cost money.
Great game, a few quality of life improvements
First off, I absolutely love this game and it has sort of taken over my life as I spend sometimes over an hour building an optimized machine without realizing how much time has passed. That being said, there are some quality of life improvements that would make the game a bit better. First off, being able to copy machines between assembly lines would be super helpful. Sometimes I’ll build a complicated machine on one line and want to copy it to my other lines to maximize profit and I’ll have to spend a huge amount of time building it from scratch. Second, being able to rotate/flip machines would be very helpful. Lastly, it would be nice to be able to pause production. I often build a machine on a very careful time setup so that the inputs all roll in around the same time. Being able to pause the Starters so you could sync up all the parts of your machine would be awesome. Again, fantastic game but a couple tweaks could make it even better.
