Every salah, you recite Al-Fatiha. If you're like most English-speaking Muslims, you've been saying those same 7 ayahs for years without knowing most of the words.
Quranle is built around fixing that. Short lessons, gamified like a language app, designed specifically for Quranic Arabic vocabulary.
You start with Al-Fatiha — because you already know every sound, you just need to learn what it says. From there you move through Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas, Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Asr, and more. Lessons are built around real Quranic grammar: why ال works, how possessives attach, what pronouns show up constantly. Once you see the patterns, you start spotting them in surahs you haven't studied yet.
Each lesson runs 3-5 minutes. You'll translate words, arrange phrases from real ayahs, listen to recitation and pick out individual words, and recall vocabulary without help. Transliteration is on at first, then gradually removed, so you end up reading Arabic rather than sounding it out.
The app uses streaks, gems, lives, missions and a leaderboard — which
sounds basic, but it works. Five minutes most days builds real vocabulary over a few months.
Good for:
- Muslims who pray but haven't understood the Arabic
- Anyone who wants this Ramadan's tarawih to feel different
- Beginners — nothing assumed, no prior Arabic needed
Free to download. Premium removes the lesson limits.
Please add a way to bring the users progress back to todays lesson. There are also minor bugs, I tried to go to settings after my first lesson to lower sound effects or turn it off on silent and it crashed on me. But overall great app idea. May Allah reward the devs.
Great Idea and Impelentation - few bugs
Az47373
First of all, this an amazing idea and love the chance to make daily Quran learning an easier habit for people nowadays. I never learned Quranic Arabic growing up but the knowledge I have on common words and memorization provides a refresh and reminder on words. I love the practice and the different categories. I wish the live system was mainly attributed to daily challenge and not old ones I want to freshen up or go back to.Bigger bug or issue I experience and see other reviews on is the daily challenge isn’t even showing up. The mission shows to complete the daily game but there’s no indication of where it is and my app is stuck on day 4 of week 103. Second quality of life, for past weeks, I’d suggest you just have a menu for ppl to select the week they want to go back to and try. It’s much easier to navigate and go back to.
error in the fill in the blank section
Tahnia A
I would’ve given this app 5 stars from the get go, as it’s improved a lot over the past few years - Allahumma baarik lahum to the developers. Recently I’ve noticed there’s been an error with one of the fill-in-the-blank sections. There’s two blanks and only one word to select (as the word fits both blanks). But because of this, you cannot move past the section. I believe there needs to be improvement made here. I’ve still been using this app for the daily module.
Great, but there are bugs
Anonymously Anonymous Anomaly
This is a great app to learn Arabic similar to the Wordle format. However, after 3 days of getting the app, I stopped getting new daily lessons even after trying to redownloading the app. There’s a quite a backlog so I’m doing those lessons, but I also would wish it is easier to access the oldest lessons besides scrolling continuously for 2 minutes.
Bug fix for scrolling the options, larger fonts and Surah Mulk Challenge.
