SADISS is a web-based application developed in the research project ‘The Choir & the Sound System’ at Anton Bruckner university (Linz, Austria) that bundles smartphones into monumental yet intricate sound systems or choirs. Two different forms of portable seas of sound are possible:
(1) a massively multi-channel sound system for re-synthesizing compositions right in the middle of the gathering of listeners using their smartphones’ loudspeakers.
(2) facilitating ad hoc choirs of human singers, individually guided via headphones

• Sound keeps playing when your iPhone locks. You can lock the screen during a performance and stay in sync.
• The lock screen's play and pause buttons no longer stop the performance.
• The screen stays on for the whole performance, not only while connected.
• The app reconnects to the server by itself if the connection drops.
• Better timing when the connection is replaced, so devices stay in sync.
• The logo no longer sits under the iPhone notch.
• Updated to the latest iOS frameworks for better stability.
