Driving mode Alongside the walking tour you can now pick the four-wheel tour. The voice tells you about the neighborhoods while you move and about single places when you stop, and it never sends you anywhere: you drive, we do the talking. The map stays locked, so there is nothing to touch at the wheel. Clearer notifications The alert now carries the name of the place you have reached, and tapping it starts the tour on its own, right where you are. Settings are down to a single switch: notifications on or off. The stories are still about Rome and the surrounding area.

Ulisse is now Ulisse Live! — and the new name is only the part you can see. • A completely redesigned interface, made to be read while walking — or not read at all, with your phone in your pocket. • Pick up where you left off: if you have already listened to something in a city, the app will ask whether you want to continue instead of starting over. • Guides available in Italian, English, and Spanish. • Stories have been rewritten: a brief introduction as you approach, and the full story once you arrive. • Experiences and activities around you, which you can save even when you are offline. For now, Ulisse Live! covers Rome and the surrounding area. More cities are coming soon.
