Most practical and comprehensive Yoga Nidra (meditation) app out there.

It really excels in two places that makes it stand out:1) Insanely practical and optimized for regular meditation — no nonsense, practical, guided sessions that don’t get stale. There is no overhead or confusion in picking different courses or content like in some of the other apps out there. Get started right away, and good content at increasing levels to keep you going.2) Teaches the foundations of mediation/NSDR as you go through the sessions — not just buzzwords and trendy highlights, but you’re immersed and get a good understanding of how everything works and why you’re doing what you’re doing. More thorough and comprehensive than most apps out there.

This app is extremely simple to use—the sessions are organized into set of four designed to develop basic skills followed by more advanced interactive sessions. All sessions are guided.I like the fact that interactive sessions can be customized and that each new session is created uniquely for the user based on previous sessions. I’ve been using the app to improve my sleep and it has worked well for this purpose. I’ve also noticed that the app promotes equanimity which allows me to approach difficult situations with a clearer and calmer state of mind.
