Our notifications screen gets a major update with this version. The first thing you’ll probably notice is the redesign. But there’s more. All notifications about a post are now grouped together, so you have everything at a glance. There’s also a new notification type: “Discussions.” It keeps you up to date on discussions you’ve taken part in, where the new posts aren’t direct replies to you. That way you stay in the loop on the topics you care about.
On top of that, you can now turn push notifications on and off for individual podcasts.

Big news: you can now listen to any podcast on CampfireFM.
Open the new Search tab, find a show you love, and press play. Some shows are brand new here, so you might be the very first person to open one. When that happens, give the episodes a moment to load in and they'll appear on their own.
On shows that don't have a community yet, you'll see who else got there early, plus a quick survey to tell us what kind of community you'd want there. You're early enough that your answer really does shape it.

Buckle up: CampfireFM is coming to your car! Starting with this version, Campfire supports CarPlay. Play your downloaded episodes right from your car's display, browse through your shows, and pick up right where you left off with the "Next Up" section. This version brings one of our most requested features: an offline mode! From now on, you can manually download episodes and selectively delete downloaded episodes. Playing episodes now also works offline. You can find all downloaded episodes in the “Listen” tab.

With this release, we’re mixing up the colors a bit. We’re giving some podcasts the option to let their community shine in their own colors. To make room for that, we’re taking a step back with the Campfire colors. Take a look.
Voice messages also got a small update: you no longer need to download them first, you can just play them directly.

We’ve visually tidied up the community feed. It’s now even clearer which posts come from an episode and which were posted directly to the feed. All posts within episodes are now grouped into an episode box. All episodes are also now displayed in a unified design, whether in the Listen tab or in the feed. Okay, this time we've got a whole lot of new stuff for you. We've simplified the navigation and now use a classic navigation bar at the bottom of the app. Through "Home" you can still access your communities and discover more communities on CampfireFM. With "Listen" we've created a completely new area for you. Here you'll find all the new episodes from the communities you follow. So you can get to the latest episode even faster. Finally, we've also integrated "Notifications" into the navigation bar. There you'll find all your notifications as usual. That includes replies and fires on your posts, notifications about new episodes, or new posts from hosts.
And in addition to all these changes, the app now shines in the new "Liquid Glass" look and fits even better into iOS26.

We've also added an updated view of who has fired up a post and made intro episodes more visible for all podcasts. If you want to see this, check out a podcast you're not familiar with yet.
