I don’t know and I don’t want to assume that nationwide real estate agents are as aggressive as the Las Vegas real estate agents, they probably are, again I don’t want to assume. If they are then I imagine that the problem I have with this app is global and not just specific to Las Vegas. I am 6’2”, on the wrong side of 250 lbs and wear a size 13 shoe and it’s never been said that I wasn’t able to handle things with my large hands. The one thing I do seem to mishandle is the trulia screen because the heart shaped button to favorite a property on your app is millimeters away from the contact every real estate agent within a 10 mile radius so they can call, text and email you immediately and incessantly until you have notified each and everyone of them personally that you accidentally hit the contact button, the only buttonvyy in the history of apps that just goes t hatfor it ancike real estate universe withouot asking “Are you sure you want to unleash the dogis on yourself this way? No ÿely or Call buttons offering a 50/50 deùcision. No way, not for users of the trulia app, not in Las Vegas where we go all in not because we know we’re going to win but because we know we can’t look like we lost and fold on big ticket items even though we know we can’t afford so high pressure sale up tactics really aren’t needed when do many are starting down the part that lead to the 2008 bubble burst on their own. So, in short, please separate the heart shaped like button get contacted by numerous agents immediately button, thank you.

Trulia is fun to use on travel: however, it assumes you are actively looking for real estate and starts to send you house recommendations. I have had to ask realtors to stop solicitations, which they are happy to do. It would be nice to indicate to the App whether you were SERIOUSLY looking, or just looking. Also, when you choose a house to look at from the list, it does NOT indicate where the house is on the MAP like Zillow. I really like that feature on Zillow. Trulia allows you to REMOVE BOUNDARY and look where ever you want. This is handy when looking for, example, lakefront and are flexible with location. It doesn’t leave much room for privacy, since anyone can look up how much anyone else just spent for a house or how much anyone’s house is worth, indicating how much wealth someone has. I also wonder if less honorable people case a neighborhood. I, in general, like to see the cost of living by looking up houses while on the road. I also enjoy looking at gorgeous houses in my favorite vacation neighborhoods.
OK, but some annoying glitches

I get email alerts of properties that may interest me, and downloaded this app thinking it would be easier to view them on my iPhone than opening in my browser. It’s not really. The email links now open only in the app, no choice. When I go through an email I may click on several properties so I can then delete the email. The properties stack up in the app, and there appears to be no choice but to see them in that order. To see the next property I must close the one I’m looking at, and can’t go back unless I favorite it. I don’t want all those favorites, just an ability to move between three or four properties. There also seems to be no way to get a link to send without starting a false text and then copying the link. Even starting a false email does not give a copyable link. Yes, I can send a direct email to someone through the app, but that is usually not what I want to do. I want a link I can paste into an email or text I am writing outside the app. If there are solutions to these issues they are ones I have not been able to find in way too much time spent looking, which reflects on the usability of the app. These issues are annoying enough that I am going back to using my browser, and since there’s no choice where things open that means deleting the app entirely.
Useful app

It’s useful and easier to navigate compared to other apps. The listings go up a bit later but if you aren’t looking in a super hot zone where days matter, it’s a pretty good app. There needs to be a cancel for request information and the DTI meter I think is backwards too. There definitely need to be some fixes but like I said, it’s easier to navigate. Also, foreclosures, more are listed on this app than the other apps I use, and they more often than not, they pan out to still be up for sale. I actually type the addresses into Zillow, as they sometimes provide pictures inside. Trulia provides a street view always so you can get a rough feeling on how the neighborhood is and if the house needs a lot of TLC on the outside or not. Trulia’s maps of disaster, crime and what not are extremely useful and accurate thus far. It has its flaws but it also provides some aspects other apps don’t.
We are continuously working on making the Trulia app better. In this release we've made some performance improvements and fixed some bugs. Thank you for choosing Trulia.
