How many years ago was Heisei 25? How old is someone born in Showa 64 this year? What Reiwa year is 2061? Spin the dials or search to see at a glance. Now on iPhone Duo. "Gengou" is a quick reference of the Japanese era system. This application has functions as below. - Era and Year Search - Period picker - Era picker - Christian era year picker - Japanese era year picker - Show this year button - Texts can be shown in Japanese or English independently of the default language setting. - Application badge can show this year number in the Japanese era or the Christian era. The Japanese era system identifies a year by the combination of the era name (Gengou or Nengou) and the year number within the era. For example, A.D. 2001 is Heisei 13. Please note that two Gengou schemes were used in Parallel from 1331 to 1392 during Nanboku-chō period. This application would be very useful if you are working with the governments, municipal offices and/or certain companies in Japan.

I believe this is the same app I had a few years ago when it was free, and I liked it then.I still like it, but there’s a UI problem. On my iPhone 8 running the latest version of iOS, when I try to tap the settings button, it just scrolls the year. It looks like the year scroller overlaps the settings button and is on top of it.When this is fixed I will like this app very much.

Simple app does exactly what it's supposed to do, conveniently... but needs an overdue compatibility update to continue being supported in future releases of iOS.

Simple app does exactly what it's supposed to do, conveniently... but needs an overdue compatibility update to continue being supported in future releases of iOS.

- Added support for iPhone Duo. When you hold the unfolded display sideways, the Japanese year, the zodiac sign, and the years elapsed are shown on one line so that the pickers stay large. - The reading of the era name is no longer cut off on displays with limited height. - Updated for iOS 27. iOS 15 or later is now required.
