I am frustrated with the free trial on my iphone. I was only able to use it for 3 holes because it took me time to figure it out. Then my battery ran out. I wanted to use it again but I couldn't get on. I had to reload it again and again. I don't know the conditions of the free trial. please advise. otherwise it looks promising but I want to try it out.
Great app...does what it says it will

First off, if I were rating only on customer service, it'd get 5 stars. I requested for a couple courses to be added to the database and within a couple hours I got a reply saying that all were added. The app itself gets 5 stars too though. The latest update gives the option of using it strictly in range finder mode, rather than having to input the result of every stroke as well (which is nice if youre wanting to do all that), and it makes this a million times more practical and convenient to use if youre just wanting distances to the greens. its also nice that this one gives front, back and middle distance to the green, while some of the other apps on here only give middle. All in all this is a great app to use as a GPS system on the course and i appreciate the big improvements theyve made to it in the most recent update...
Great service

For all those who have complained about not having the courses you want, just contact the guy and request the course and most of the time (assuming there is good enough resolution in Google Earth), it will be up quickly for you to download. This is a growing program and you won't find all the courses on there but they are added all the time. If you want to take the time to put it in, it takes about 5 minutes max once you know how to use the path tool in Google Earth.Great service here and a great program if you actually look into it.
Doesn't work ... UPDATE: WORKS GREAT NOW !!!!!

Every "launch" sends me back to the icon page. I understand that I have to sign up for premium service ($19+/year), but I'm supposed to have temporary access for a couple of weeks. It crashed before I had a chance to get to the course. Looked promising, but I really had no time to evaluate. UPDATE: Customer service was very quick to help me get the app up and running. While I wish the fonts were a little bigger, the app works great and seems to be very accurate! Before the end of the first round, everybody was constantly asking what the yardage was.
