Bebot is a musical instrument that anyone can play. Instead of a keyboard, it has an easy-to-use touch control system. And it's all built into a friendly animated robot, who performs your music while you play.
Although it looks simple on the outside, inside is a powerful synth engine which lets you create and edit your own sounds and apply effects. The controls are easy to use, making it fun to tinker and experiment with sound. If you just want to get playing, there's also a wide selection of preset sounds.
The touch control system lets you lock in a scale so that you'll never play a wrong note, which makes it easy to play, even on your iPhone. It's polyphonic, which means you can use multiple fingers at once to play chords and harmonies. Plus, you can perform sweeping slides and expressive gestures that would be practically impossible on a regular keyboard.
While it's designed to be simple and fun, that doesn't mean it's only for beginners. Bebot has been used both on stage and in the studio by accomplished musicians and performers including Dream Theater, How To Destroy Angels and The Flaming Lips.

Now with Audiobus and Inter-App Audio, you can connect Bebot to other apps such as GarageBand to record, multitrack and add effects, making Bebot more versatile and useful than ever. For more information about Audiobus, visit http://audiob.us/
I adore this app and it was one of the first iOS audio apps I bought back in 2010. It never crashes and never gives me any issues which is amazing considering there hasn’t been an update in six years. I wish you guys would add an in app purchase with the ability to quickly record inside the app, or with some extra LFO or other effects-more sounds. Auv3? I mean it’s still definitely worth the price of admission and is still on all of my iOS devices. Obviously, you can use it in Audiobus/AUM and other apps but only IAA. I’m not asking for anything free as I would pay for a more functionality. As is – it is still a fun and cute app and I find myself going back to it every few months to just mess around and make some fun sounds. Thank you for making a solidand affordable app. I’m not slagging the app or devs by asking for more.I know all apps don’t do everything (believe me I own over 100 iOS audio apps, and have been beta testing apps for 13 years). i’m not one of those people that want the entire world in one app but a few extra in app purchases would be awesome. If you’re on the fence about getting this app, just take the plunge as you’re not going to be stuck with an over priced monthly subscription or an over priced app that you regret-you will have fun with it and it is most definitely a solid app!!
i love bebot

i downloaded this app on my first ever ipod touch, probably back 2009 or 2010, and it's transferred onto my devices ever since. Though I don't use it very often, it is the one app that I feel I must have on my phone because BEBOT IS LIKE A FRIEND TO ME. Whenever I have an exceptionally bad day and I remember ol' bebot he always cheers me up. As a musician I am always impressed at the functionality, quality and variety that this app has to offer. The UI is awesome... the only logical progression from here in my mind is an in-app DAW where you can more carefully craft bebot songs, as opposed to the looper which is obviously limited.Thank you for this little guy!!! I hope he continues to live on and evolve (ever so slightly) throughout the years.
Incredible App - Just 1 Request...

This app is something I randomly purchased back when I had the iPhone 4S, and amazingly, it was not abandonware, like so many other musical apps of the past. It went from simply a fun novelty, capable of keeping my 2yo daughter amused, all the way to a refined set of parameters that could be tweaked to make some super dope sounds and run inside of AudioBus 3 for using to make real music! What’s not to love? The only thing I would like to special request is a set of tweakable modulations and adjustable filter (for the brighter sounds) to go with the sounds and effects. Maybe an envelope for modulating the amplitude of Bebot’s vocals, a full controllable or even slightly limited (I don’t want to be greedy) LFO, and a simple resonant LP, HP, BP filter like what you find on the Behringer Neutron or something like that. That would make this absolutely top notch in the all time hall of fame apps, as far as I am concerned. Even if you do none of these things, it is still an incredible app, and I just want to sincerely say thanks!-Stephen
UPDATE?

I have loved this app for over a decade (has it really been that long?)…I sincerely hope the devs keep this app functional. I’m not a professional musician, or producer, or anything like that…I just love exploring the different sounds and the stress relief of playing around with the different settings and whatnot. I don’t see any need for new features, but I hope they optimize this app for the current iOS. I would hate to see this wonderful app left behind, when Apple inevitably switches to a higher level architecture, as they have done in the past. Please Normalware…keep us little guys in mind! Show Bebot some love!
