Every loyalty, rewards and membership card you own, on your iPhone. CardStar puts the right card in front of the cashier in a second, so your wallet and keychain can go on a diet.
THE ALL-NEW CARDSTAR
Rebuilt from the ground up for today's iPhone: a fresh design, dark mode, and Face ID or Touch ID unlock. Upgrading from the old app? Your cards and lists come with you, and a quick guide shows you what's new.
ADD ANY CARD
Point your camera at the barcode and CardStar reads it, or type the number in. Pick your store from hundreds of logos so every card is easy to spot. No barcode? Snap a photo of the card instead.
PHOTOS OF YOUR CARDS
Keep a picture of the front and back of any card, right under its barcode. Perfect for gym, library and membership cards that the cashier just needs to see. Tap a photo to fill the screen.
FAST AT THE REGISTER
Open a card and the cashier scans the barcode straight off your screen. CardStar turns up the brightness so scanners read it the first time, and one tap makes the barcode full screen. In a hurry? Touch and hold the CardStar icon on your Home Screen to jump straight to a recent card.
ALWAYS THE RIGHT CARD
Your recently used cards sit at the top. Sort the rest A–Z, by most used, or in your own order, and search finds any card by name.
SHOPPING LISTS
Keep your shopping list next to your cards and check things off as you go.
SHARE WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD
Send a card to a family member by email, so a shared membership is on both of your phones.
YOUR CARDS, YOUR CONTROL
CardStar works without an account: your cards stay on your iPhone and in its backups. Add a passcode lock with Face ID or Touch ID. Create a free account to back up your cards and photos and use them on all your devices. Export everything as a spreadsheet any time, change your email or contact support right in the app.
I used to use this app every day. But now the bar codes don’t work at the store. Thank you very much.
Developer Response
Sorry about that! If the barcode shows white on black, open the card, tap Edit and turn off Inverted Colors, and it will scan. Our next update, coming in the next few days, fixes this so the setting works like it used to. If that's not it, please tap More → Contact Support in the app and we'll sort it out.

This was one of the best apps for managing your store vanity cards, along with hotel and frequent flyer cards. Well that was version 4, now we have (POS) version 5. App looks and operates like it was programmed by kindergartners. They have forced users to move away from an easy text tree card list to a icon tiled view. That's all well unless you have a color deficiency and the tiles now blend into the background making them unreadable. For those without color deficiencies there now extra steps just to find your cards, if they show at all. This latest repair update has my cards playing hide and seek. Sometimes they appear most of the times they don't and there's always some missing from the list. Guess you could learn to live with those issues unless, you're in a store where you need the number for the discount and you no longer can locate the card. Leading to losing the discount and money.CardStar needs to bring back the legacy menu options and fix the app. Hopefully, users that liked it can gain confidence back with your company. Otherwise we should all run very very far away!
Good Start, with polish it will be a four or five star

Pros:1. You can't beat the price.2. Works as described. Very clean. Cards scan with no problem. I've used it several times and the cashiers always question whether it will work. It hasn't failed yet.3. Although it isn't easy to find there is an OTHER category. If you have a card that isn't listed simply choose this and you can enter your card. You won't get the pretty logo but the numbers and barcode will be there ready to be scanned at your next transaction.Cons:1. First one is a doozy! If you enter many cards one after the other the application has a tendency to crash. Those cards are not immediately written to storage so when you reopen the app after a crash all your hard work for that session is gone. You have to start over! I've had this happen a few times and learned the hard way. Only put in a few cards at a time. Exit the app then come back in.2. More of a feature request than a con. I second the many reviewers asking for a note field. Although you can change the title of a card to add detail sometimes you need to add expiration dates, what phone number you used to sign up, what email address is associated with this card, and so on.
One on phone 3yrs ago and still is there!

Okay when I am at grocery store or drugstore or need gym card or frequent flyer number for airline this is the one app that I have everything. I hate going to store and phone number doesnt work and they give me a new card number so in reality I would carry a janitor looking key ring of store scanners but I just use this app instead. Now am take advantage of more miles/points since my girlfriend and kids use same card number at stores, so instead of four different accounts at grocery store we all use same and take advantage of all rewards they let us redeem. And now on line when customer ahead of me doesn't have card I offer up my iPhone and let them get the price discount at register and will get the points. It is a must have app! Only issue is cashiers need to use hand scanner almost always to scan barcode on screen and some stores don't have or broken. So they will just have to key it in. Just make sure screen is as bright as can be and sometimes screen guards interfere with scanner. But that is all expected and still say it is well worth the five stars
• Brings back cards that went missing with the update: ones your old CardStar still showed after they'd been deleted from another device
• Barcodes set to "inverted" in the old app scan at the register again: they're shown upside down, as before, instead of white on black (Edit → Upside Down)
• Barcode Type is easier to find: it's right at the top of Edit, and shows which type the card uses
• Fixes cards sometimes not loading or saving
• Fixes edits to some cards and lists not backing up to your account
