Enough already with the temperature around the globe, spending 10 minutes or more informing us temperatures around world where ppl can’t go there anymore is useless, Sky should be calling the weather app, so why not Try showing the Covid-19 worldwide infection numbers, CHANGE that Sky theme music, it’s a turn off! Murdock enterprise, need I say more, watch AlJazerra 100 X more informative!

Sadly, in spite of having a great team of reporters and journalists available, Sky News has thrown its lot in with another one sided view and are spinning news again.I just read and listened to a short story titled “Deborah shuts down Brexiteer”Points I have at odds with this spin type of headline:1. She is named, the protagonist is not, and merely dismissed as a “Brexiteer”. Spin 2. The host attempts to call order in an effort to allow the Brexiteer to answer questions… he was not “shut down”, merely heckled by an angry lady, who has no obvious reasoning other than to be anti <whatever position here>. 3. The reasoning for this kind of reporting, in fact the notion of a show to ask the question “if you had to do brexit again, would you?” Is flawed. It takes the assumption that the move was errant, and doesn’t support those pov’s for the 2/3 of the country who in fact voted to do it. I detect blind loyalty to the god of “woke or socialist ideals”. Think people, think. Have a mind and use it not to simply show your insatiable desire for like on twitter. One line wonders, such as Deborah, and the spin this show promotes, are all the rage but lack any and all substance. Stop trying to nose ring the population - we do not want to be told we are mistaken in our votes or opinions… no matter what side of the argument we fall on. Share facts, offer insights perhaps (if you’re even able to divine what that truly means), and allow us to make our minds up as to a conclusion .Otherwise , shut up.

App is generally good, content interesting and informative, etc. My main complaint is that I can’t share stories from the app via Facebook Messenger. When I tap on the Messenger icon, what gets inserted into the message is NOT (a link to) the story, but just the cover photo. To share via Messenger, I have to switch out of the app, locate the story in a web browser, and share the story via Messenger from there. Messenger sharing used to work in the app but broke in recent updates. (I hope this is not a feature.)

I check sky news every day. The only thing that is sometimes frustrating is when there is a clip of a news video, but no supporting information about the story/video - neither as a separate story or embedded in the video. Quite often there is a written story that you can click to get the info, but sometimes nothing, so you don’t know what it’s about. Not sure why sky does this. Other than that, the app is easy to use and has a good Mx of stories.
