EMF Detector uses your device's magnetometer to display magnetic field strength in microteslas (µT). An animated analog dial, luminous digital display, and rolling trace bring the measurements to life in a detailed industrial-style panel.
READ THE FIELD
• See total field strength or select the signed X, Y, and Z components.
• Follow changes with the animated needle and recent-history trace.
• Use HOLD to freeze a reading and RESET to clear session peaks and history.
• Switch between 100, 500, and 2,000 µT dial ranges without changing the measured value.
• View calibration status from Apple's calibrated magnetic sensor data.

Live measurements require a device with a magnetometer. Slowly rotate and tilt the device to help iOS calibrate it. Magnetic cases, chargers, nearby metal, and calibration can affect readings.
EMF Detector measures magnetic fields, not electric fields or radio-frequency radiation. It is not a calibrated safety instrument, wiring-fault detector, or paranormal detector. The hum represents field strength; it does not measure the field's physical frequency.
