I have been using the app since April ‘24 after having an email account be severely compromised a year ago. My computer would not support the desktop version so I’m using the app only. For the most part, I’m happy with it, they have missed maybe 4 messages that made it thru the filter and ended up in my inbox. I’ve received answers via email every time I’ve had questions, usually w/in 24 hours. Only criticism is that I’m probably getting more, not less spam since starting with this filter, and it’s the same spam repeatedly. I realize it’s not the function to eliminate it but rather to filter it - but wish it had an impact on eliminating it. I’m checking the app maybe 10x / day to go thru & confirm the ones they have blocked. Only other suggestion I’d make is to have a way to mark them all at once rather than clicking thru each manually. In general tho, I’d recommend it & hope it will be improved w/ newer iterations.

A 5-star Catch 22

I have a deep appreciation of the very big difference SpamDrain makes to my inbox. I value it and I've tested it with the Catch 22 option. A couple of years ago I figured I'd just not renew and was surprised at the results so I restarted my account. My frustration is partly linked to being an Apple system user with the Apple generated password and therein lies the Catch 22. When I renewed this year, my filtering was interrupted for about 5 days because it apparently triggered the need for a new password. The system of customer support is the Catch 22. First, finding out how to contact them was difficult, second their written support files didn't really help me and thirdly the automated Zendesk response systems is annoying and unhelpful. I wish they had a 'get to a real person' option for Apple users available. After all those days and three automated responses from them when I'd already done everything else I managed to figure out what I was doing wrong. This is the key: It was what I was doing wrong! But I think for $19+ annually somebody should care to write a document for Apple users and particularly provide step by step instructions. The snafu for me was there was a line under the filtered email address with only the word "unchanged" which I interpreted to refer to my email which hadn't changed not my password which was no longer recognized. By the time I finally figured that out, I'd changed my apple generated password four times and was very frustrated. My only complaint is how easy it would have been for someone 'live' to respond to my pleas rather than repeated automated responses before I was exasperated. I know they have an amazing Spamster system but I want an amazing personal customer support too.

First thing I wanna say is thank you for a product that finally is blocking all of my spam emails. This product is doing an incredibly wonderful job eliminating between 20 and 40 SPAM emails that I received on any given day. It provides an accurate list on their app showing everything that it’s blocked and everything that it’s allowed and I’ve been using it for about two weeks now And it’s has not let one SPAM email through and as you go through your list of emails you highlight which ones you want to get rid of reporting them as SPAM or save it to your whitelist. And the more times I’ve gone to your app to verify whether it should be a spam email or not. I’ve noticed that there’s been less and less mistakes. So it’s definitely learning on a daily basis. This app is worth every penny my email is a business account. And that’s the reason for so many spam emails, but not anymore. Thanks to Spamdrain!

I’ve been using several years. Spamdrain has stopped Viruses and Spam from corrupting my iPad and iPhone. It sorts through all my mail and declares it Blocked or Allowed. Ultimately I make the final decision by opening Spamdrain and declaring mail that is Blocked as Spam or release as Regular Mail. I must also make the final decision on mail that Spamdrain has Allowed. By tapping the Trash Icon and then select Delete. I could also tap the Mail Icon and declare it as Unwanted or Spam. You also receive an email from Spamdrain daily on your Mail status. If a piece of mail is questionable, you must open Spamdrain, Blocked and declare its status. You are in total control! I highly recommend Spamdrain!
