The app is terrible. The first store that shows up is located 60 miles away. There’s no option to hide stores. When you set filters, they don’t stay put. It resets every time: quite annoying. Also, It’s weird that NONE of the stores on Weedmaps have less than 3 stars. I’ve posted honest reviews that did not violate their guidelines. Yes, I reported the negative experiences I had at the stores and gave less than 3 stars but I read and re-read their guidelines hundreds of times and I never violated any of them. In addition to removing my reviews, it appears they banned me from using the app. My login credentials no longer work and when I request an email with my reset password link, it never shows up. I did not swear or insult anyone. I do not use hate speech or make violent threats. All I did was give my honest review of these businesses and Weedmaps removes them. I’ve had multiple friends and relatives leave reviews and the ones who gave less than 3 stars also had their reviews removed by Weedmaps. The people who gave 4 or more stars never had their reviews removed. Another thing I noticed about Weedmaps guidelines is it specifically says do not leave multiple reviews for the same business. I’ve counted at least twenty instances of seeing different 4 or 5 star reviews for the same business from the same user name. What exactly is Weedmaps up to? Anyway, I would steer clear of Weedmaps. Leafly is much better and they don’t take bribes from businesses to delete unfavorable reviews.

5 stars because while sometimes there are in app issues most times it relates to problems completely out of WM’s control and to me personally I think the entire experience is appealing, even WM ads are ‘chill’ as far as ads go. One example of an issue is that some dispos have issues updating menus but this is sort of a given depending on staffing/service. I for one however like to use the app to check with dispos that do frequent updates, as well as to see what might be on sale/deals. If your favorite dispo does integrate well it is fairly helpful, sometimes just for browsing. Overall I like the functionality of the app itself though sometimes the map feature is a little odd. What I would recommend to WM is to keep the experience for the user expansive but initially simple and subtlety make companies/dispos compete in app for attention; a top way of doing that at least to me is through variated sales. I have not used delivery features so I won’t comment on that and rarely do with for anything but at least it exists in app as of now. I would say for a normal user having the app on your phone is at minimum a monthly use case with certain features potentially warranting more attention based on personal situation.

I really do love and appreciate the convenience that weedmaps brings to the game. Anywhere you’re at. So many options. Literally the ONLY complaint i have, which tbh, isn’t actually weedmaps fault (or at least idt it is🤷‍♂️) Is the catfishing effect of the Stock photos of he strains that weedmaps puts up for all business registered. The pictures are even different for each shop (most of the time) giving the illusion of each place having different batches of different strains, for each individual shop. Making you believe that the picture provided is in fact what the buds look like. However, more often than not. In fact it’s safe to say that 9/10 times i am actually disappointed with the turnout in the quality of my selection due to high expectations from falsification from weedmaps. I don’t know if weemaps doesn’t allow the business to provide their own photos, or if shops just don’t do it. But whatever the case may be, i think this needs to be fixed. If it’s up to the shop, and weedmaps only fills in what shops don’t do, then i’d rather have no picture at all instead of being directly deceived. Luckily most of the shops have wonderful costumer service and are honest about the quality and the false photos. If shops are in control of their pictures i realize they could also just as easily post generic photos, but you would also have the lazy ones who don’t post at all and it would be easy to go ahead and rule those out due to the business’ lack of effort.

I was searching for a certain brand and found it here at Bonafide. Can I just say how awesome this place is!!! The selection is crazy big and the prices are even crazier…in a good way lol. Now onto their stellar customer service-I don’t think I’ve had better customer service like I did with both Andy B. and Mimi. They actually took the time to listen to me and give me the best possible deal. Thank you both for helping me out and putting up with all my questions, you both seem really cool and it makes such a huge difference supporting a business when the people who work there actually care. Im going to be a very happy camper in the next 20 min or so as they also deliver. Can’t wait to ‘Netflix and Smoke’ with my favorite flower, my new series, and my old man of a cat. Yes I’m a crazy stoner cat lady who’s perfectly fine with it! Lol. I’ll be back for sure as well as spread the word about you, Bonafide.?Thanks again!!
