Howdy Wine Lovers,
I'm not able to address issues posted here, so please e-mail me if you have a feature to suggest or there's a bug to fix: natdecants@nataliemaclean.com .
The new label scanner will improve with your help in adding new wines and labels. Let's make this app even better together!
This is a labor of love for me as a journalist: it has cost me personally more than $100,000 to create and keep updating this app ... so please be kind and patient ;)
Cheers,
Natalie
P.S. Please upgrade your smartphone to Apple's most recent operating system (iOS) to optimize app performance. It's free to do this: apple.com/ios

The scanner works sometimes, but wouldn't give me reviews w/out joining their community. Even then I'd have to by a subscription to get the review.
Nat Decants just got even better

I have a number of wine apps on my iPhone and one or two that I seem to use often. One of them is Natalie MacLean's.My wife is very good at food and wine pairings but I am not. And because I'm in the wine business, everyone expects me to be this authority figure on all things food and wine. The truth about food and wine pairings for me is that I have no real expertise beyond enjoying well matched cuisine and wine. All I do is quietly refer to Nat Decants and then speak up like the bona fide expert I'm supposed to be. I'm not sure if anyone is wondering exactly how I manage to come up with some suitable suggestion right after glancing at my phone but that's for another day.Her new app is smart with some great development behind it. I like what natalie MacLean does in the wine world, a lot!Galen StruweSacre Bleu Wine
Great Pairing App
pmille01
Tons of free reviews from a well respected wine taster with a talent for pairing wines and food. As such, its most powerful and best feature is that you can start by selecting either a favorite food and let Natalie suggest a varietal that pairs well, or start with a wine and let her suggest foods or cheeses that pair well. Even better, once you select a varietal, it leads you to specific wines with Natalie's reviews. The app even includes wine friendly recipes. The application is web-based, thus the app stays fresh and current, as it integrates into her website. This eliminates having to download large updates from time-to-time. The app easily pulls current reviews, recent newsletters, etc.Great app for anyone who is interested in pairing suggestions.
A beautiful, comprehensive, streamlined wine/food app!

I just downloaded and installed this new version on my iPod Touch and iPad. I continue to love this wine and food app. Natalie provides such comprehensive information with regard to pairings, reviews, recipes, etc., and I can share what I find via social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. This new version is even more comprehensive, very streamlined, and also very quick. It's also visually appealing. The performance is amazing. Thank you, Natalie, for continuing to provide such a wonderful app to wine enthusiasts like me.
Small changes and bug fixes. Vuforia library update.
