REVIEWS

“I have dabbled with astronomy for 30 years, star maps, celestial co-ordinates, Patrick Moore’s year book but this app renders them all obsolete. It makes locating stars and planets child’s play!”
“Got a telescope for Christmas and hated not knowing what I was looking at. This app made stargazing a million times better for me and my kids!”
“Any astronomer knows the computational power needed for these algorithms. And the iPhone sensors are up to the task. Unique.”

WHAT YOU CAN DO
---------------------------------
• Follow a live AR arrow to any planet, star, constellation, satellite, galaxy or near-Earth asteroid
• Identify what’s in front of the camera - names appear as you pan
• AR for everything, including a live orbit streak on the camera so you see where the satellite is going
• Watch any satellite’s path in 3D, then hop into its POV - or a planet’s, or the Moon’s - and look back at Earth
• Search the live catalog: every Starlink, Iridium, OneWeb, LEO and GEO satellite we track
• See visible flyovers of ISS, Hubble, Tiangong and Starlink trains
• For every pass: a reminder, a 3D flyover simulation, and an AR rehearsal of the same path
• Get a Lock Screen Live Activity before a pass you can actually see
• Track ISS cargo and crew launches and dockings
• Follow NASA close approaches from JPL
• All 88 constellations, 300 brightest stars, 110 Messier objects
• Moon phase, planet facts, Home Screen widgets

Good app. They are deffo onto something but this needs improvements still. I.E. outline of constellations, back button, gui update . . Otherwise great! Had this app since my iPhone 3GS, now use a 6 Plus. And you CAN in fact restore purchases. All you have to do is try and purchase the add on again and you will receive a message stating you already bought it and press "ok" to download again for free.
This reliable application invigorates my child-like wonder
Lips of Lightning
I am 100% void of conventional sight but, for the past few years I have been thrilled that with Apple's VoiceOver feature on my iPhones and this remarkable Planet Finder application, I can always point exactly to where the heavenly bodies in our amazing solar-system are located! Everyone I show off using this great Planet Finder to are constantly amazed that a blind person can always show & tell sighted people where the moon is in the night sky. I love having every feature unlocked and Planet Finder is worth far more than I paid to utilize its comprehensive up to the seconds knowledge... Thank you! 🌞🌝☄️🌟
Please fix the bug

I love this app more than anything. It is the best that I’ve discovered out of all the others when it comes to planet finding and it’s the most accurate and less complicated than others. but recently there’s been a bug I can’t even click on planets in the visible or not visible to know where they even are at. It crashes every single time the second I tap on any planet. Please fix this. This was my favorite.
Awesome app
