This is mostly an update to the internal database to bring the app current for 2024 - Events, Camps, Art, DJs. Bugfixes for map/location services. Improved search capabilities for camps, art, and DJs.

Minor Bug fixes *If going from the map to a favorite camp, then navigating to the camp's events, the times weren't displaying correctly. *The events displayed for a camp were omitting the day of the week from the event start times *Yoga/Fitness events were not displaying correctly. You could find them in the Daily and Name sort, but not by type.

Rockstar Librarian has provided her curated list of favorite musical happenings on the playa. From the Music Guide display, select the Find icon at the top right of the screen, then select "Rockstar Librarian's Faves". Bug fixes and Maintenance: *Fixed a bug with the times of Music events. *Fixed some alert dialog misspellings. *Removed some warning alerts that were redundant or no longer used.

Since the Burning Man Festival is not taking place in the Black Rock Desert this year, this year's app provides information on the events set up for the Virtual Burning Man gathering. Under the "Particpate" screen, you will find shareable links to all of the official event hosts.

The first release for 2020. None of the 2020 data is available yet, but we are working on new capabilities and bug fixes. This version fixes an issue that could cause the 2019 app to crash, while the system that tracks Likes is down for maintenance.

The Rockstar Librarian music guide was supposed to be included in the last release, but was not. This version has all the music events and DJs included. Guaranteed! Also fixed some minor bugs with the "Now" searches.

*The Rockstar Librarian Music guide has arrived! Thousands of performances by DJs and bands, to keep you moving and grooving throughout the week. *The Playa Calendar snapshot was refreshed, with more fun things to do *The camp location data from BurnerMaps.com has been included, so that you can see where many camps are, until the official location data unlocks when the gate opens. ***** NEW Feature: BurnerMap data can now be directly imported into the app, to help you find your friends' camps on the playa! *The Artwork list is now more of a gallery, allowing people to preview all the incredible installations that will be on the playa this year. *The BRC Map now includes a "Radar" function, showing you nearby art & camps as you wander the festival. *Radical Inclusion also means people with any mobility restrictions, and we are happy to say that we are now indicating which camps and events are trying to be more inclusive. Many thanks to Rat Lady at Mobility Camp for helping us with this, and to Rockstar Librarian for collecting the information. *The Map interface has been streamlined and enhanced. You can search for camps and art directly from the map. *You people really like to "Like"! You blew our little system out of the water with all your activity, so we've re-written the system to be more responsive and robust while.

*The Rockstar Librarian Music Guide data is live and available for your pleasure! Over 1300 performers, playing 2200 sets! *The checklist has been showered with love and redesigned. It is especially useful when run on an iPad, but even the iPhone version is better now. *Although Rockstar Librarian won't be a t the burn this year, check out her list of favorite music performances, found on the Music events' search page. *GUI has been extensively re-worked to be cleaner and more obvious regarding your liked/favorite things. Liked/Favorite events still show up on "My Schedule" but everything else gets their own "Favorite" display. For instance, if you are looking at the list of Camps, you can go to YOUR favorite camps right there. *The app now tallies and displays the number of likes for events, camps, artwork, and DJs by all the users around the world! The number is displayed below the Thumbs Up button. *Many bug fixes! A free playa hug to the first person who can crash the app!

*The app includes the 2018 data for events, camps, and artwork. All built in, so that the information is available even when off-line or in airplane mode. *The app has been re-written to support newer devices like the iPhone X and has been optimized to run on iPads. *The app now uses Fabric and Crashlytics to help the developers identify and fix issues faster. *The GUI has been modified to be clearer and easier to use. *Many changes have been made "under the hood" to make the app faster and more stable.

*Added the ability to register walk-in camps while on the playa. *Added the ability to update your home camp location while on the playa using GPS. The 2016 burn is over and it's time to start thinking about 2017! The screens have been re-ordered to reflect that people and camps are now planning their 2017 playa adventure. Prominence has been given to the "Background & Reference" pages and a new "Ticket Info" page has been added. If you know someone who is thinking of attending the burn, have them download the app for easy access to the essential information a first-timer needs!

*The official location data for camps and artwork is included in the app. It will automatically unlock when folks hit the playa - this is a requirement imposed on us by the festival. *The map has been enhanced to show art work, once location data is available. *The process of adding favorites has been streamlined: when you favorite an event, the camp is automatically favorited and when you favorite a camp, any events they host are favorited. *The map has been tweaked to be more user friendly. When you touch a pin representing an art installation or camp, you are taken to the details page for them. *The art audio tours automatically start playing quicker, so it's less confusing for the user.

What's that? You want MORE things to do at Burning Man? Well, how about hundreds of DJs spinning cool grooves? Yes, this update includes Rockstar Librarian's Music Guide to Burning Man 2016! Speaking of things to listen to, the Art Guide audio tour files are now embedded in the app, so if you see a "sound wave" icon next to an art listing, it means the fine folks at ARTery have recorded information about the installation for you to listen to. No WiFi needed! I totally revamped the BRC Map, making it easier to find camps and artwork and much more stable. Several minor bug fixes, found by our legions of fans. Thanks guys! You helped make this version better!
