How to access:
The app is free to download. You can read on the Times Classic app in one of the following ways:
- If you are an existing digital subscriber, log in using your email and password.
OR
- Subscribe to The Times and Sunday Times in-app.
Please note:
Payment will be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase
Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage your subscription and switch off the auto-renewal by accessing your Apple subscription manager after purchase
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

After the recent update I can no longer login to my subscription. If I look on Apple, subscriptions, my subscription is valid thought April 9 and renews monthly. I also received a message that my subscription ended on as of today. So much for improving the app.

Another step backwards. The new app doesn’t improve on the (bad) old one, but now rams ads down your throat in the middle of each article practically. This is how you lose paying customers …
The release contains updates for older iPads and improves how graphics are displayed.
