The iPhone and iPad app, developed by goWare, lets you find the content of the manual in an instant thanks to its indexing and search features, a task that would otherwise be complex and time-consuming without a search engine.
The app is organized into monographs dedicated to individual molecules or classes of molecules of interest for medical therapy, each systematically covering many aspects, including:
- readily available commercial products;
- general dosage;
- precautions for use;
- absolute contraindications;
- adverse effects, with average percentage frequency of occurrence;
- mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, reconstitution, dilution, etc.;
- interactions with other drugs;
- use during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
- indications for each disease.
