PokerCruncher is a big winner! I started to play Texas Hold'em in the early 1990s. After moving away from Las Vegas in 2002, I didn't play very much at all. Everything new that evolved in the game; hand range analysis, equities, etc., passed me by. So now, having returned to Las Vegas, I needed to learn how to play the game all over again. After I purchased PokerCruncher, everything about it was a blur to me. But after R.J. (developer of PokerCruncher), was kind enough to graciously spend time putting together a list of videos and other materials for me to review in order to help me. He even recommended a world class player to help coach me.NOW I USE PokerCruncher RELIGIOUSLY EVERY SINGLE DAY. PokerCruncher is one of the best all time software programs (regardless of application) I have ever seen or used. I'm qualified to make this statement given my tenure with IBM, and in my own company which relied on developing and implementing new techniques in database analysis.
Awesome

The best poker app for iPad, period.
Best

I agree. The best iPad pocket app hands down — a mobile flopzilla. All hands listed by equity is a great feature. I *really* wish, however, that these were broken down by individual suit. I hope this can be added eventually.
Developer Response
Thanks for your great review. Re. "All hands listed by equity is a great feature. I *really* wish, however, that these were broken down by individual suit" - the Mac(Expert) version of PokerCruncher can do this, but this is more complex and requires more calc/computing power/time, so this feature will remain only in the Mac-Expert version. Thanks for using the iPad-Advanced version. Regards, -RJ/PokerCruncher, LLC
Great, and Best Odds Calculator out there
Meechigan
This in fact is my favorite iPad App. The designer/programmer gets all kinds of credit. (I'll explain below.)This odds cruncher does everything you would want and then some. I have two degrees in mathematics, am a lawyer and investor, and occasionally play poker recreational. I have the view that detail matters, and I can learn or get a feel for odds in all kinds of situations:Hand vs. DistributionDistribution vs. HandDistribution vs. HandHand vs. Distributions of multiple players.Distribution vs. Distributions of multiple players.Hand vs. Random HandHand v. DistributionDistribution vs. Distribution of multiple players. It's great! It has handy short cuts for creating distributions (including Sklansky rankings). You can save created distributions. You can see a heat map showing the relative ad/disad graphically of a monte carlo simulation.Frankly, if you want an odds calculator, just buy it. I have had two others. One was ok, until I just happened across this one. As I said, it is so good that I think it is the best app I have on my iPad. A few have better graphics but none has better functionality for what it was intended to do. (You know, Mail on iPad doesn't use Groups itself...this isn't missing anything.)Wonderful! Cheap for what you get! I gotta think anyone at a tournament would want this every time they leave the table to mull over a difficult hand...!
Fixed a UI bug where the toolbar’s buttons had a bright white background and were difficult to read if you have the “Reduce Transparency” iPadOS setting turned on (Settings -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Reduce Transparency).
Thanks for your latest app reviews. If you like PokerCruncher and our continuing work, please consider writing an App Store review, thanks!
