WiFi Camera makes a great remote-photography tool! Set up one device to take a group photo, and use the other as a remote! WiFi Camera will allow you to connect two iOS devices wirelessly. You will be able to receive and transmit the camera view with the other device, in addition to sending photo capture requests, which will take a full-resolution photo on the receiving device, transfer it to the requesting device, and save the photo on both devices. Simply download WiFi Camera, install and run it on two devices or more, and it works like a charm! NOTE: You need to install and run WiFi Camera on two devices, one of which should have a camera. - Works on all iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches! (iOS 7.0+) - Fast image streaming - WiFi or Bluetooth connection - Picture-in-picture view of what is being transmitted - Beautiful, intuitive interface - One-touch connect & disconnect - Interface rotates with the device - Facetime-like interface Connection Issues? It is possible that your wireless network does not support the Bonjour Networking protocol that WiFi Camera utilizes. You should make sure that both devices are successfully connected to the same wireless network and that there is successful connectivity. If this does not work, it is recommended that bluetooth be turned on for both devices.

This is truly a wonderful app, and I am anxious to give it five stars when the connectivity bugs are work out. When it works, it takes lovely photos remotely and allows the photographer to be a part of the photo without scrambling to set a timer. All he/she has to do is open the app on both devices, click accept on the one taking the photos, and go!That being said, I am in an area with a strong WiFi connection, and both devices are appropriately connected. There is a connectivity issue between the two devices. (I tried this first with two if my OWN devices--iPhone 4s and iPad 2 in case there were an issue of privacy, passwords, cross carrier... Etc.) A countdown circle with a zero in the center came up in the middle of the screen and sat there for the first several attempts. It wasn't until I lost connectivity, closed the app entirely, reopened it on both devices, and tried again that I realized that that countdown circle was supposed to let the user know when photos had been successfully uploaded. Out of approximately 10 photo attempts, only 2 were successful. The connection between the two devices was repeatedly dropped, and this was only with a distance apart of about a foot and a half. So far, I have only attempted a WiFi connection, but my experience is that WiFi is more reliable than Bluetooth. If my experience with a Bluetooth connection and this app proves different, I will amend my review. I would love to use and recommend this app, but until the bugs are out, I know MY friends will not tolerate regrouping repeatedly for a photo simply because I couldn't get my app to work.

No More Jello For Me
I actually bought this app based on an Apple review online, suggested by a so called “Genius”. This app is nothing more than me Alexa “drop in “call. It looks exactly the same. You cannot control one device or the other. You can only see what is going on. Had I want to use the Alexa drop in call, or just used iChat... it would be the same thing. It’s not a remote! Not at all..I’m asking for my money back from Apple. You don’t deserve my money. You should be taken off the store. Total rip off.

I purchased this app hoping to be able to connect my iPad to my wireless Canon camera. App connects great to iPad and iPhone, but not to my camera. After rereading the reviews and description I should have realized it was compatible. Please make descriptions clearer.
