The app freezes frequently, especially after bug fix updates. Also, as far as content, there will be the same articles listed 2 or 3 times to fill space. I’d rather see a short list than scroll over the same content again and again.

Since the rate has increased so much due to tariffs, I put the app on our IPad for the e edition. My husband will HATE this. I will be reading an article and the page goes back to the top, so you have to scroll down again. Instead of being able to read an entire article, it’s set up just like the physical paper where you have to go to another page to finish reading the article. Talk about old school! My husband likes reading a physical local paper, but I refuse to go along with our rate almost doubling due to tariffs. The E Edition was our other option. What a horrible option. Guess we’ll be canceling our long standing subscription when it renews.

In a day where media has pushed us toward online app’s, the least they could do is invest in updates. This app works sometimes…at best. Today for example, it will not even open the e-edition. Yesterday, I made it to page 2 before it froze up and would not go to the next page. I’ve tried all the “suggested” solutions, clearing the cache, blah blah blah, that do not help. Really? update already! One star is one too many!
