Works well until the recent upgrade. The page is only at the corner of the page. Utilizing only about 50% 0f the screen. Worked well before Tim Tsang

This app is the worst. It constantly gives me trouble when I try to read it. Now I can’t even open it. It’s truly a crap.
Doesn’t work on IOS12

Version 1.1.1 actually works pretty well

I found it disturbing that people could be so critical to a free app that provided very nice services on a daily base. I don't understand why people had to be so mean.Update: The app turned out to be much better than I thought. Yes, it takes a while to download a 40 to 130 pages newspaper. Actually, the download speed was not bad compared to the Wired app. Both apps use similar approach ( taking an upfront lengthy download, but allow you to read at your own pace later ). The Wired app only gives you 1 trial issue. Additional issues cost $3 each. The Headline News app let you keep the latest 6 issues ( 1 week ). Each issue is usually much bigger than Wired, and it is completely free.Once the issues are downloaded, the reading experience is very nice. The issues are exact replicas of the printed issues. I'd buy an iPad just to use this app.More update: I actually prefer exact replicas of printed versions of newspapers and periodicals. The fact that you cannot mess with the content has a certain appeal. I do think that turning the pages to PDFs will be a very nice enhancement to the app. Hopefully, the developer will eventually implement this type enhancement that reduces bandwidth requirement. However, the app offers much more than just the pages. It is a content management system. As long as I started the app ( with the iPad plugged in charging ), the app will fetch the newspaper when a new one is available. It always keeps the last 6 issues. Old issues are deleted automatically. So, when I want to read HK newspaper, I just pick up the iPad and read what's available. My wife can do the same. Not much user interaction is needed. I just don't see how I can be critical at such a nice workflow. In fact, I'm considering getting an extra iPad so that it can do this ( newspaper fetching ) full time.
