Before I got my iPhone SE, I was using a flashlight app that came with the original iPhone. Well, it wouldn't work with iOS 10, so I had to find a new one. Yes, I know that Apple provides a way to turn on the flash, but it is extremely annoying. I can never get that stupid flip up from the bottom stroke to work properly, and then when I turn my phone off, the light would stay on. Later I'd pull my phone out of my pocket and find the light on. With this app, it works exactly the way I want: hit the app button, the light comes on! Get out of the app, or turn off my phone, the light goes off! So convenient!!! Why can't Apple do this? I can even turn the light off while in the app or make it strobe. No ads. No hassle. Wonderful! Sadly, I keep getting messages from Apple that this will not work on their next iOS, and the developer seems to have disappeared. I hope it will still work in iOS 11, even though Apple says it won't.

I got this app for my iPhone4S and it works great. I like it cause it doesn't turn off when it goes into standby and it doesn't take up too much memory space on my phone. The ads don't get in the way some people who complain about ads, they need to get a life especially when something is free. The only thing I would like us for the light to stay on when I want to go somewhere else on my phone, but really I just need it to get to my house from my car, so it's no big deal.

This app is simple and easy to use. One issue I have is with the strobe light option. The button for the strobe light is on the main screen. Big mistake. If you are using your phone as your only source of light, you will inevitably switch to strobe light mode by accident. If you have the light directly visible this will more than likely result in a trip or fall. Besides that, I use this app exclusively and I watch out for the strobe button. On the flip side, you can use the strobe feature for endless fun by aggravating your friends and family. From my experience, only flashlight apps that use the LED Flash actually work. The apps that turn your screen different colors or show something like a candle don't work. Those types. provide just enough light to see something no more than a foot away.

I've waited forever for an update for this app. Now that it's finally here, the light turns off on its own. What kind of flashlight turns off on its own when you need light in the dark? 😡Revised: The latest update seems to have fixed this issue. Thank you! 😊
