This app is a lifesaver. I use the brown noise and the rain feature all the time to work in a noisy office and to block the now constant noise of my fellow commuters’ video watching in the subway.I have recently noticed, however, that it does not play well with others. I have tried to use a pomidoro timer app at the same time. They both run, but Simply Noise doesn’t allow the timer beep to play when my time is up. I’ve also noticed that while Simply Noise stops when I get a call, it doesn’t resume when the call is over. It kinda gets stuck. Still, great app.

Being someone who has sleep apnea, this app changed my life. I used to sleep fit fully and in short spurts, but once I downloaded SimplyNoise, I slept as well as any other person would. Some days, I forget to turn it on while I rest, and I wake up feeling groggy and tired. It also works great for a noisy environment, during online learning, when my household was particularly loud, I would turn it on and I could continue my work in peace. By far one of the best apps I have ever had. My personal favorite is the rain feature, but all of the options soothe your soul no matter how noisy and stressful the rest of the world is. While it doesn’t resume after I record a video or use my camera, the app is otherwise flawless and by far the best thing for fit full sleepers. Changed my life, hopefully will change yours too!

Lost my old brown noise MP3 a while ago–you’d be surprised at how difficult it is to find a quality file. However, this app goes above and beyond my most hopeful expectations: you can actually customize your own blend of white, pink and brown noise, each playing simultaneously. I never even imagined this being an option. And the sound comes through totally clear and without distortion, even at high percentages and high volume. Simply wonderful for someone such as myself who is an extremely light sleeper. This is one of the only times I have ever bothered to write an app review and it is because I am just that grateful for the quality of what this sound app has to offer. Fantastic.

I like this app and I hate this app. I love how it helps me to sleep at night. I love that I can set whatever time it goes off. I HATE THAT I CAN SHUT IT OFF WHEN I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT. I can pause it in a number of ways but I can’t turn it off during the day. I leave my house and get in my var and my phone connects to my car by Bluetooth and I am frightened by LOUD white/brown noise on my radio, I try to listen to a video in my car and SimplyNose usurps the sound track. I turn it off and if I make a phone call, when I hang up my car is aeash I’m LOUD white/brown noise. I thought I could quit it. When I try to listen to music, it starts again and covers the music. The only way I have found to prevent this unwanted SimplyNoise intrusion is to UNINSTALL the app and then REINSTALL it at night when I WANT to hear it. Please make it possible to actually TURN OFF the app when it’s not wanted.
