This was some prehistoric code that was rewritten. With our new search shortcut, you can find your treasures in no time at all. The doors to many more libraries have been opened so you can now browse even more sources. Found something interesting? No problem - content can now be easily copied. Now the best for last: all links you find in the search results open directly in the app - no more annoying back and forth between different apps! Looks like BTLB had a bit too much dessert recently! This update makes a few improvements and fixes a couple of issues, one of them being a correction in App size- it's now back to normal. This update: • fixes an issue where search would continue to search when there is only a single page of results • removes 3 external dependencies which were needed for account synchronization in the past • cleans up linked frameworks and libraries • reduces app size by improving internal dependency graph • almost completely got rid of Objective-C, the legacy programming language used for writing iOS apps • made built toolchain lighter By the way, happy 2025 to everyone and as always - happy reading!

This is the Xmas release of BTLB | bɪtlɪb | in 2024. I hope you're all leaving a good year behind and look forward to the next as much as I do! This version builds upon the foundations introduced with the last release, most importantly adding the "availabilities" feature to libraries within Stiftung Hamburger Öffentliche Bücherhallen. • availability of an item is now displayed per library in the Search Section As some fundamental changes were undertaken other libraries are *not* supported by BTLB at this time. Good news is that I will add support for them again in an upcoming release. It might come incrementally (first search, later accounts) but things are looking good that BTLB will become more versatile soon. This update lays some groundwork for improved search and synchronization of your library account for accounts of the public Bücherhallen Hamburg. Besides keeping all existing some improvements were introduced: • adds a new splash screen that refreshes your accounts if necessary • improved account balance • renewal/preorder state of loaned items As usual - happy reading and thanks for using BTLB!

This update is all about better integration into iOS. This release contains the biggest changes to the Account section since 2010! It was completely rewritten and a new screen to add accounts has been added. It will hopefully be easier to add/edit accounts than ever. On top of the improvements of version 2.14.0 this dot release fixes a stupid bug in that previous version: • fixed app size. It is now back to its normal ~10mb instead of ~100mb.
