A bedside clock that glows all night, an alarm with its own sound, and a nightlight you can leave on till morning.
A bedside clock that glows all night. An alarm with its own sound. A nightlight and a flashlight in one swipe.
Prop your phone on your nightstand and Kiwi keeps the time, in StandBy and on your Lock Screen. Pick from four clock styles in the app.
Set an alarm for the morning. On iOS 26 it rings even with the app closed or your phone on silent, and you can snooze it from the Lock Screen.
Drag the sun down and the sky goes with it. Night settles into a soft light you can leave on until morning. Drag it back up and you have a flashlight.
Set a timer for the evening, a nap, or a quiet hour. Watch the sun or the moon count it down. A small voice counts the last seconds so nobody gets startled awake.
Layer rain, a stream, night sounds. Whatever settles your room.
Play Kiwi's own songs, or connect Apple Music or Spotify.
At night the Night Monster peeks over the hill. Leave the light on or play some music and your friend leaves him an offering. He leaves you a jar of fireflies.
Kiwi stories, read aloud. A different one is free every week.
Twelve friends, all free. Kiwi, Taro, Cheri, Mango and the rest. Pick one and the whole app takes their colors. Each of them has a song.
Eight quick games for nights when sleep won't come.
Wallpapers, trading cards, Kiwi stickers for Messages, and widgets that keep the clock, the timer and the alarm close.
No account. No ads. Nothing to sign up for. The app sends how it's used, never who you are.

This app basically turns on the camera flash of your device and leaves it on. You can't adjust the light on the back and it's a bit too bright for me. You can turn that off and only use the adjustable light from the front of your device but it doesn't provide much light if you deactivate the back and only use the front. It may seem complicated but it's actually very simple and easy to understand. Kiwi and all the other animals are very cute. :D. I love the fact that it's free, it never loads, no ads, no in-ap purchases, and it works great. I would recommend getting it and deciding wether or not you like it because it really depends on how much you like the light it provides and kiwi.
Great solution for new mom
GirlFriday82
I'm a first time mom and my baby girl co-sleeps with me. When nursing her at night or moving her around in the bed I needed a nightlight solution. This is it! I can easily turn it brighter or dimmer and in guided access mode she loves switching the characters herself now. I've had this app for about a year. I use it EVERY NIGHT! ---One request with the new update: please oh please make the clock numbers bigger like they were before! I liked being able to easily seethe clock at night. Thanks!
Please change it back

***Update: It’s back and it’s working perfectly! Thank you for fixing the issue! I’m so disappointed with the changes to the app and how it turns off constantly now! I use to use this app all the time now I’m considering finding something new, as it’s no longer helpful.

Thank you for the feedback. We are currently investigation why this is happening. Check back for next update.
Old version better than the new version

I used to absolutely love this app and used it every night on my nightstand while my phone was charging. It allowed me to have a nightlight as well as visibility of the time. However, they updated the app and are now adding a timer that causes the nightlight to shut off after a short interal. In order for it to stay on all night, you have to pay them five dollars for the app. I realize that’s not a lot of money, but it’s just really annoying that they took away the free features.
Developer Response
Thank you for sharing your feedback. There seems to be a misunderstanding about how our timer feature works, and we'd like to clarify. The nightlight function in KiwiLights is designed to stay on continuously - there is no automatic shutoff unless you specifically set a timer. The timer feature we added is completely optional and was included based on user requests for battery conservation and sleep enhancement. We’re still working on the landscape mode and also a standby mode when you turn your phone to the side. That will also be free to use. Coming in the next updates. You do not need to pay $5 to keep the nightlight on all night. The core functionality of using KiwiLights as a continuous nightlight remains free, just as before. The premium features include additional characters, enhanced features, and extended timer options, but not the ability to keep the light on.We apologize for any confusion! If you're experiencing the app shutting off automatically, this might be a technical issue we need to investigate. Please contact us through the app's settings page with details about your device model and iOS version so we can help resolve this problem. Thank you!
KiwiLights is a bedside clock now.
Set an alarm with its own sound. Quick times are free. Pick any time you like with Plus or Premium. On iOS 26 it rings even with the app closed or your phone on silent.
Prop your phone up by the bed and Kiwi keeps the time. There's a clock for your Lock Screen too, and three more clock styles in the app with Plus or Premium.
At night the Night Monster peeks over the hill. Leave the light on or play some music, any time of day, and your friend leaves him an offering. Come back to a jar of fireflies.
Tap your friend for a hop. Press and hold to pet them.
Turn on the rain and they open an umbrella. Turn the light up bright and they put on shades.
The boombox is new. Kiwi's Music, Apple Music and Spotify in one place, sounds you can layer, and a case you can recolor and cover in stickers.
The sun or the moon can count down your timer now.
Twelve app icons. Kiwi stickers for Messages. A flashlight button for Control Center. Alarm and timer buttons on the widget.
And the usual quiet fixes.
