It is amazing how easy it is to create elegant and jaw-dropping patterns with this app. Think: beautiful ancient mosaics, the geometry of spare lines, even modern tribal or "hand drawn" effects. Using product packaging, illustrations, fonts, fabric — anything on hand — the possibilities are endless. I just wish there were more features in the app. It could be easier to save pictures. Maybe auto record video and let us choose our favorite still shots? At least give the option of viewing the snapshot without obstruction before we decide whether to save it. Anyway, worth a shot if you're into graphic design or making your own wallpapers or webpage backgrounds. Even if you're not… it is entertaining for dull moments.

This is one of the coolest apps I've downloaded yet! And it was free!! I recommend this to everyone. You can come up with a lot of amazing pictures. Soooo much fun!!

If you are looking for a program to make awesome abstract backgrounds this is it. It is a very fast and smooth kaleidoscope app that makes wonderful photos. The way it renders what the camera sees is totally different from other apps out there that attempt the same thing. If this program would save the photos in the native resolution of the iphone 4 I would be printing them off and hanging them up in my house. But this app is free so I am not going to complain. Makes very cool photos if you get a person in one.

Does what it looks like! Pinch to zoom the effect (while the camera image itself remains sharp). Drag to rotate.There is an iAd, but screenshots don't show it--they are clean and full-screen.Feature request: use two finger "twist" for rotating so that dragging can move/pan the triangles. (Because I'd like to get the pattern centered on the screen.)
