Easily convert between Decimal Degrees and Degrees/Minutes/Seconds (Dº M' S") notation. Then, easily view the converted coordinate in the Maps app, or send it to GPS Log (our app for recording your travels). Or copy to the clipboard using the standard iPhone functions. Fuzzy parsing logic allows you to input coordinates in a variety of ways, like N 28° 11' 47", E 86° 49' 40, and S37° 56.679' E145° 10.141'. Most of the formats used by major geocaching web sites are supported. Great app to use for getting specific information to the NWS while out storm spotting!! Great for us ham operators when out in the field when accurate info is a necessity.P.S. It's 6 years later and now it doesn't work anymore. No updates to program since 2014!!!!! Doesn't work within the iOS 11 realm. Too bad.

I'm a pilot, and often do aerial photography, surveying, and other ground-based operations where I need custom waypoints, not those already officially published. This app does great work converting when different hardware and software use different lat/long formats. I just wish there was a way to import/export directly to/from the aviation mapping app "ForeFlight" to create a flight track without needing to manually transfer the coordinates.

It does something extremely useful for converting from GPS decimal readout to latitude and longitude in degrees, minutes, and seconds as they are used on nautical charts. It is a big time saver for me. I gladly paid 99 cents for being able to use it ad-free.

Hard to use in the airplane

This app is very hard to use in the airplane as it requires a precise spacing format with correct symbols. There are much easier formats on Google where they make the entry process easier. The manufacturer needs to update this. Very small font adds to the difficulty.
