This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. - The annoying AppStore login on every program launch is gone. - The extension pack store is back unless it has already been purchased. - Third party integration (*) had a bug which prevented some apps to be launched. - TomTom integration (*) has been removed, since the App is not available any more – even for previous customers. The new TomTom Go does not support to be launched from apps. - Firefox integration (*) added. - In some cases pins could not be removed after they had been moved. (*) (*) Requires the extension pack to be purchased.

This version fixes problems in conjunction with current iOS versions. iOS 8.0 or later is now required. iPad Pro and iPhones with 4.7″ and 5.5″ display are now supported.

Bugfix release. A few users experienced crashes during location lookup, change of iCloud sync setting, or state restoration with the previous version.

• iPhone 5 support • Location look-up is done using the Apple service instead of Google. • Setting a pin for a contact also applies to duplicates (contacts with the same name and addresses). • Support for multiple address books (Local, iCloud, CardDAV, Exchange). • Multiple level Undo / Redo via device shake (iPhone/iPod/iPad) or long press onto contacts toolbar (iPad only). • iCloud synchronization between multiple devices running iOS 6.0 or later (*). • Override contact’s address locations by dragging a pin to the desired location (*). AB Contact Map 2.7 fixes some minor bugs and improves address book imports, especially for background changes like iCloud synchronization. User Interface improvements: • The addresses on a contact’s info page are now sorted in the same order as in Apple’s Contacts app. • The search bar above the people / marked points lists is now always visible and does not scroll with the table anymore. It’s clear button is no longer under the table’s index. (Search bars are only available for extension pack customers.) App Integration (extension pack required): • MotionX GPS Drive / MotionX GPS Drive HD added to the list of supported navigation / routing apps.

Improved address location lookup: • If multiple contacts share the same address, it will be queried only once. • If Google's request limit has been reached any pending lookups get cancelled and an alert will be shown. For customers of the extension pack: • The search bars remember the entered text. • The "Mark All Red" / "Mark All Green" / "Select All" / "Clear All" Toolbar buttons only affect the contacts matching the search bar text.

• iOS 5 compatibility. • Verbose pin labels. If enabled the title contains the person’s and the company’s name and the address in the subtitle is prepended by it’s type. The following new features require the extension pack: • More pin colors. You can choose from 8 pin colors. Since this breaks the simplicity of the user interface it is not enabled by default. • The lists of contacts and marked points are now searchable. • Marked points (dropped pins) get exported / imported into a csv file which is accessible via iTunes file sharing. If you want to modify this file make sure that AB Contact Map is not running in the foreground.

AB Contact Map has been completely rewritten. The most important improvements are: ● Universal app, runs on iPhone, iPod, and iPad ● Faster execution, lower memory consumption, and more reliable operation ● Contact lists now have an index ● Setting to hide contacts without an address ● Two different pin colors (without extension pack) ● Progress indicator for geocoding ● Geocoding can be cancelled ● Address book changes get recognized immediately ● German localization ● Additional features can be added by in-app purchase.
