Needs work but helps sleep

I've only used it a few nights and my sleep, although the same amount of time, has declined in quality. I don't really understand that yet but maybe I'll figure it out. It would be nice not to have to log in to the iPhone to turn off the alarm since one is a little groggy upon awakening. Since the wristband doesn't vibrate to wake, one has to have a little courtesy to the spouse who is still sleeping, and it makes the adrenaline flow-maybe not great when just waking. They did fix it so there's a button to go to Wakelytics, which is convenient.Hoping they will make naps able to be included for those of us who occasionally nap. I've often wondered how that affects the quality of night sleep. Great idea and heres hoping it keeps improving.

I was somewhat skeptical since I have done the medical sleep study and they found nothing. This tools works well to give you an idea of when you get your best sleep. Make sure to tag your sleep with as much info as possible to get the best information back. For example if I exercised I put an exercise tag, this way you can do trial and error to see what helps you sleep. Don't get it if all you want is the alarm, I actually don't use it much since I am more interested in seeing what I can do during the day to improve my sleep at night. It's been proven that light exercises like walking 30 mins can help you sleep better or doing Yoga. With the Wakemate you can actually see the changes which is really neat. So far it has worked great and I was happy to spend the money. **Improvements that would be great- I know that the shorter the sleep period the less accurate the sleep data but it would be nice to have the option to add naps, possibly having the ability to have sleep data and nap data be separate so that it does not mess up the wakelytics data.

I've had the unit for between 2 and 3 months now. It's worked fairly well overall. Once you log a week or so of data you can log onto these site and get a whole bunch of information on your sleeping patterns, what days of the week you generally sleep best, your most successful fall asleep and wake up times, just a whole bunch of stuff. I do wish I could get this through the app and not have to log onto the site. I've had it paired with my iPad, and a few times I've had to use it offline, not connected to wifi. It works, but I seem to need to sync the data before I can use tithe next night, so I found myself looking for a wifi connection just to sync. It would be nice not to have to worry about that. The unit itself is comfortable to wear. I've found recently that I have to charge the unit a bit more often even though it's only been just under 3 months. I'm a little worried that it won't last up to a year, but I'm hopeful. Overall I still suggest this to friends and still use it daily.

Horrible Customer Service (I feel as though I've been ripped off)

So I purchased a Wakemate. They shipped it to me almost immediately. When I wanted to return it, it took a week to respond to the email about where to return it to. They received my Wakemate return unit nearly two weeks ago, and I still have yet to see the refund for the Wakemate back in my bank account. Repeated emails are responded to positively, but no action is taken, which makes it all the more frustrating. As for the Wakemate itself, I found the wristband to be distracting, and it actually kept me awake more than helping me sleep. It also didn't register when I was actually awake and when I was asleep, which made the whole system even more suspect. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this company entirely. Buy a Zeo or FitBit instead. I can't imagine that the customer service of those two companies would be any worse than this particular company, which I've found to be entirely unprofessional. Those running this company are entirely unresponsive. I've spent more time trying to get my money back than anybody should ever have to spend.
