The developer is on the right track, and probably closer than anyone else, but this application still needs work. Simple "misses" like using "First Name" as the description for both the First Name and Last Name make me wonder if this application was really put through much testing prior to release. I also wonder what businesses can effectively use a scheduling application that doesn't support an efficient way to reschedule appointments once "confirmed". Thus far the work around seems to be to delete the old appointment and recreate a new one, which I guess is is okay if you operate in a perfect world. Unfortunately we book up to six months in advance and it's a common occurrence for someone to ask to shift an appointment around. I also DO NOT like the fact that MY data can't be exported for use in another application. Software companies come-n-go and I don't want to have to manually re-enter my data into another application should this app be abandoned (see iBooking).After continuing to work with the app, which I think is on the right track, I've adjusted my rating to 4 stars. Although not completely intuitive, there is a relatively easy way to reschedule appointments. I'll hold out on the 5th star until the developer adds an "export" function.

The best booking app out there. Independent Hairdressers - this is the app for you. Book your appointments, keep count of your inventory, keep track of client information and formulas, online booking, text and email appointment confirmations, you can book through your Facebook page, and you can process payments (using PayPal here). It’s perfect. And what makes it even better is the customer service. There is always a quick response. I’ve used this app since 2013, and it keeps getting better.

This app is great, but it would be a lot more useful if all the pro features actually worked on the app. Having to switch to the browser version while still on my phone and then having that version not work well on mobile means that the pro version is at best super inconvenient and at worst pretty useless if you have an iPhone or iPad to run your business with. I’m not an app developer so I have no idea what the reasoning is for this, maybe it is hard to fix? But it really takes a lot away from what would be an otherwise perfect app.

I am already frustrated with this app because I can’t even log in. I’m using the credentials straight from the email I’ve been given and it won’t work, yet I am able to log in through the computer without any problems. Why do I have to log in with a set of random numbers instead of my email like I can through my laptop? Of course there is no way to contact help so I’m not able to do anything with appointments until I can get to a desktop/laptop.
