Create passport, ID and document photos directly on your Mac. With iFototessere, you can take a picture with your webcam or open an existing image, align the face and print the photo at the required size.
Choose from 24 formats for European, Italian, US and other international documents. ICAO guides help you position the forehead and chin and keep the face within the biometric framing guidelines.
Take a photo with your Mac webcam or open a JPEG or PNG image. Crop and rotate it, then adjust brightness, contrast and saturation until you get the result you want.
Print at true size in millimetres on 10×15 cm (4×6 in) photo paper. You can also save your photo as a JPEG or PDF for later printing or digital use.

Passport photos have very specifc requirements. This app fails at one of the two requirements that would make it of any use: without supporting both the app is worthless (worth less than $0.99). Yes, it lets you zoom and crop to the correct dimensions. But passport photos also have requirements for how big the subjects head is supposed to be in the photo. As an example, US passport photos are to be 2"x2" with the head being from 1" to 13/8".This app requires you to take a guess, print it out, measure to verify and repeat as needed until you get it right.By the time you are done, you might as well head to a local place that does it all for you for a few dollars and save on your printer ink and photo paper.

This app was a life saver for me! Saved me $66 in passport photo fees for my family. It is very easy to use, and very intutitive. I was in a hurry to get these photos done, and I literally had it downloaded, had six new sets of passport photos saved as jpg files, and had them uploaded to the store for printing within 10 minutes. I really like the face "guide" on the template that shows how far too zoom in the picture. Thanks for developing this!

It’s a good thing I only paid $0.99 for this piece of trash. Every time I try to save it crashes. It also does not allow you to create any more that 2 pictures on a page. What a waste. Do not waste your money on this app. I should have known better to buy an app that hasn’t been updated in 2 years.
iFototessere 4.4 is a major update, built for today’s Macs and for those who have been using the app for years.
It now runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. You can open a photo from the Finder or Dock, take a picture with your Mac camera, and print at the exact required size for CIE, passports, and the other 24 formats you already know.
The interface is now also available in French, Spanish and German, in addition to Italian and English. Cropping, saving (JPEG and PDF), and printing on 10×15 cm photo paper are more precise, while the ICAO guides are still there to help you align the forehead and chin.
