Every time I try to create an email account, at the end after my email account is successfully created - I immediately get a message saying that my account has been blocked due to “suspicious activity”. Which is impossible as I was never about to use it in the first place. So either they have my entire ISP (Cox) blocked from being able to create email accounts with them - or they’re no longer allowing new accounts to be created and just using the “suspicious activity” b.s. as a cover. Interestingly enough, I was able to create an email address by using a different ISP the other day. Everything worked fine. But as soon as I got home and tried to log in - boom! My new account was blocked once again. I was able to send one single email with this new account, to myself, to make sure the account was actually working. And it was. But for whatever reason, my account keeps getting blocked and once it does, they absolutely refuse to unblock it no matter how many times I ask. I’ve probably created 4 or 5 email addresses with them at this point - all of which were mostly blocked immediately after they were created. Makes absolutely no sense. Why sites and security systems block entire ranges of IP addresses is beyond me - I mean that’s a really old, outdated, and inefficient form of security. At this point, I’m done with GMX. It’s useless to me so I just uninstalled it and went back to Mail2World. I’ve never had an issue with any other email provider like I have with GMX. Apparently they don’t want me to use their service, though I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever. So, if they don’t want me, I’m certainly not going to stick around. Bye GMX!!
