The QNB mobile banking app has everything you need to do usual day-to-day transactions. It literally is like having a bank in your phone. The app is very reliable and rarely crashes. However, there are some functionalities that could be added to greatly enhance the user experience. One thing that they could add is an in-built feature that automatically syncs with your accounts/cards and lets you track and manage expenses much like the Mint app for US Banks.

QNB has over the top security measures for accessing account info that don’t even make sense, and will prevent you from accessing your account whenever you do not have cell service (such as when you’re traveling), and when you need it most. As with ALL other reputable and international financial institutions, a thumbprint and/or permanent PIN number should suffice, rather than sending a temporary PIN via SMS with every internet login. Even if you speak to a representative regarding your account over the phone, they require you to call from the mobile device associated with the account - again not possible when you do not have a cell signal or are traveling internationally. This method is fine for a small local bank but poorly serves international clients.Additionally, they should invest more money into their app and website as there are many gaps in the interface which make it less user friendly.Anyone who believes this is a good app or appropriate security measures has clearly never banked with a large reputable financial organization before.
Some improvements but seems incomplete

Biggest improvement for me is that transfers are way easier and faster to operate. What I found uncomfortable is that it gives you all your balances right upfront, and you need to do some clicks to hide them in case you are in a public space, for example. I cannot find where to fetch a monthly statement, and neither can I apply now for a savings account, another card, or other services that were available in the previous version. I also liked the previous interface as an entry point.Still getting used to this, but it’s not my preferred version. I hope it gets better soon.

The new app updated design is too complicated. Too many information! A lot of banking language (not simple at all).Too many text. Too many colors. And not easy to read font. Online banking shouldn’t be this hard and complicated. It should be easy for everyone. I don’t have to be a banker to be able to use the app, which is the case with the new update.I hope you revise the design and make it simpler, or at least give the user the option to hide certain information like (outstanding balance/actual balance/pending). These information do not need to be there without me requesting for it.
