TouchChat is a full-featured Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) solution for individuals who have difficulty using their natural voice. TouchChat is designed for individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, ALS, apraxia, stroke, or other conditions that affect a person's ability to use natural speech.
TouchChat gives an individual the ability to choose a vocabulary file which consists of pages and buttons that contain words, phrases, sentences, and other functions. Messages are spoken with a built-in voice synthesizer or by playing a recorded message. Various synthesized and custom voice options are available, allowing the user to choose a voice that fits their own personality.
After your 30-day trial ends, you’ll have the option to purchase TouchChat HD w/WordPower®, TouchChat HD, or TouchChat HD Lite. If you don’t make a purchase, you’ll still have access to the WordPower96 English and Spanish lite-tech boards when your trial period ends.

This app is good and all great for teachers but like how do we get the emojis on there cause I’m on an iPhone 16 base model not a iPad like you’re supposed to do and I saw this in my school and I asked what the app they’re using they said touch chat and then the next day I said cheese that touch trap at is $300 $300. I’m talking you gotta know what you’re paying for parents/teachers just get the light version. You don’t really need people speaking right into your ears if you’re at school it’s just annoy everybody. It’s a good app.

I got discover a while ago and have now bought the lite version as other apps just do not compare. Sure it has no speech output, but I can still use it as a communication board. You are told ahead of time what you’re buying and I think it’s worth the $10.

This company will NOT allow you to transfer the software to another device. You will PAY MORE THAN $300 EASILY!!!! There is NO customer service and they simply blame Apple for every problem imaginable. Was once a good product but it has sadly been ruined… Much better alternative apps are out there.
