Największą zaletą Ginger jest bardzo wydajny format danych, dzięki któremu cały rozkład jazdy jest przechowywany w telefonie. Ginger zawsze pyta o połączenie z Internetem, więc nie generuje żadnych nieprzewidzianych wydatków. Część przystanków posiada dane geolokalizacyjne, co umożliwia ich pokazywanie na wbudowanej mapie. Aplikacja powstała we współpracy z firmą Comgroup s.c.
