This game is very enjoyable, creative, and beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this game, but there were only so many minutes. Some parts kept me busy for a while, but, overall, this game was much too short. For three dollars it wasn't bad, but I have gotten games three times the length for one. Those other games didn't have the amazing graphics that this does, but we play for the sake of playing.

Samorost 2 is at the bottom of the list for me out of the three games that are available from Amanita Design. I'm fast becoming a fan of Amanita Design games. They are consistently unique with great animation and sounds. While Samorost 2 does have cute animation along with a cute story and neat sounds, it is quite short and is not as explorative or intriguing as Machinarium or Botanicula--both of which I would highly recommend and are worth their price. It is clear that this game was created before the other two, and I do not think it is worth the price. If you are wanting an interesting game with a unique look and atmosphere go with Bontanicula or Machinarium.

It will have to hold me over till the next Machinarium I guess! Machinarium was amazing and set the standard for me as far as this type of game goes. Samorost is like Machinariums little brother. Same cool art and music, but much less detail oriented and lacking the cool puzzles, but still pretty darn nifty.

But I found Amanita Design when it only had Samorost 1 & 2, so this game is close to my heart and brings back really good memories lol. The music, the gameplay, the artwork and design, everything makes this game definitely worth $3 for me. I think I paid like $10 previously, so. I’d pay it again. I love Amanita Deisgn, can’t wait for the 3rd :)
