I have been incredibly active on AliExpress for over four years now. I buy hundreds of things on there per year. Understandably there is a lot of misconceptions of the app being similar to SHEIN, but it is not. Majority of the shops on AliExpress are small businesses. It’s easy to find handmade and original items, this includes stickers, keychains, home goods, clothing, etc.. This app has done nothing but improve dramatically over the last years. The feed of the app used to be pretty difficult to navigate, and the shipping options weren’t the best, neither were the prices. The quality of the products also was not as good. Overtime they’ve updated the app to be incredibly user friendly. My home feed is incredible and changes to what I’m searching for rather quickly. The shipping updates are incredibly thorough, and easy to track. Choice shipping has made this easier, although shipping times are still always very delayed for me. Even past a month. Refunds are given quickly if an item isn’t shipped in the time it is supposed to, but getting refunded on an item that you didn’t receive can prove difficult. Being an active member on AliExpress, you’d hope that you’d be heard more when you claim your package didn’t arrive, which happens once in a while. But unfortunately you only receive the refund about half of the time. Although this is an individual seller problem, it is a problem from AliExpress customer service as well. I can’t wait to see the further improvements, I will always stay loyal to this app!
