The Spirit of '76 app is a biography app bringing together the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, plus Robert R. Livingston (a member of the committee to draft the Declaration, though not a signer), and George Washington. The app also includes text versions of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution.
Inside, you will find a variety of biographical tidbits relating to their faith, careers, education, youth, and the founding of the United States of America as documented in "The Lives of the Signers" by B.J. Lossing.
To further illuminate the setting for America's founding, you'll find descriptions of various events and topics spanning the eighteenth and early nineteenth century.
