Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

This app illustrates the functionality of all MIETHKE Gravitational Valves which are used for the treatment of hydrocephalus. These valves are developed and manufactured by MIETHKE. The app helps to better understand the basic principle of MIETHKE Gravitational Valves and illustrates the relationship and effect of the human body position (upright - oblique- supine) on the valve opening pressure. Furthermore, the control of valve settings can be undertaken by using the X-ray recognition tool. Valves which are demonstrated in this app are - M.blue, proSA, proGAV 2.0, proGAV, GAV 2.0, GAV, paediGAV, miniNAV, SHUNTASSISTANT 2.0, SHUNTASSISTANT and the DSV. Christoph Miethke GmbH & Co.KG develops, produces and sells neurosurgical implants for the treatment of hydrocephalus.
