Welcome to the TAXI DEUTSCHLAND app. Use it to book a taxi anywhere in Germany—in every town and city with more than 5,000 residents!
We have completely redesigned the app to offer even greater convenience, safety and reliability—and the best possible taxi experience.
We are currently rolling out the updates step by step until all features are available.
Open the app to see immediately how soon a taxi can reach you. Enter your destination and we will show you the estimated journey time and approximate fare. This allows you to plan ahead and arrive safely and on time.
* Our app processes bookings automatically in most of Germany’s major cities, including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Essen, Leipzig, Bremen, Dresden, Hanover, Nuremberg, Duisburg and Bochum—as well as many others.
* In smaller towns and cities, you can call the local taxi dispatch centre directly from the app with just one tap.
* Under “Extras”, you can specify a range of special requirements, from the type of vehicle you need to booking your taxi in advance.
* Save frequently used addresses as favourites with a single tap. If you do not know the exact address, you can also select a location or point of interest (POI), such as the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
* In selected cities—always listed in the app under “INFO”—you can pay for your journey through the app by credit card or PayPal. We will send your receipt directly to you by email.
* In your home city, you can also pay conveniently by monthly invoice.
* Only our service allows you to pay through the app even if you did not book your taxi through it. Before starting your journey, please ask the driver whether they are affiliated with us and offer this service.
* At the end of every journey, you can rate both the driver and the vehicle. This helps us to continuously improve our service. Your rating is anonymous.
* If you particularly enjoyed your journey, you can add the driver to your list of preferred regular drivers.
The app is operated by Taxi Deutschland Servicegesellschaft, an association of Germany’s leading taxi dispatch centres. It also operates the nationwide mobile taxi number 22456 and works exclusively with local taxi dispatch centres.
For you, this means maximum reliability and safety whenever you book a taxi.

This app works very nicely for me.Like how you can see where the driver is, enroute. Only criticism is that it is always a bit off on my current location. Have to always double check where it says I am starting from

If you only want German travelers to use the app and not foreigners to be able to book tickets then you should have something that says this. There is no need to let us go through downloading the app and signing up for an account then finding out that we have a phone number that is not German so we cannot get the verification codes to use the app or online website. In this day and age there should be no excuse for this. So much money lost.

You will only be allowed to establish an account if you have a German phone number. This is useless for international visitors. Don’t they want our business?
