I’ve been using this app for several years now and love the content. I purchase the annual subscription and love the quality of shows. My only complaints are technical ones. When I’m in my car connected to my Bluetooth stereo and have to pause to take a call the app crashes or goes back to the Home Screen. Same thing happens when I switch from one Bluetooth device to another. Lately, I’ve been having trouble with my subscription. I keep getting error messages that my subscription has expired (I still have 4 months left). Restarting the app works occasionally, but not the last couple days. I put a trouble ticket into the Apple Store so hopefully I’ll get a fix soon.

I love this app! I've listened to all of Bob Hope's old radio shows and look forward to many other shows to listen to. I especially enjoy listening to these old shows while I'm in the car. I have purchased an iPhone 7Plus and followed the usual protocol to move from an older phone (iPhone5) to a new one, backing up the old phone and then restoring the new phone from the backup. However Vintage Radio wasn't working on my new iPhone7 Plus so I was frustrated. A simple e-mail to Orion got me the solution -- Michael told me to delete the old app and redownload it. Then I restored my purchases (the subscription) and everything is working as it should be. I've tried other old-time radio apps but this one is the best by far -- it's got the biggest variety and the shows are all clear and easy to listen to. Great app and great support -- what's not to love? Anybody interested in old-time radio shows should download this app and get one of the subscriptions so that you can enjoy these great shows (many aired live with little rehearsal and it's great fun to listen to the ad-libbing to cover their mistakes!)

Fantastic app. and what a selection offered. I'm an OTR fan and it just doesn't get any better than this and the convenience of having this app so handy. Prior to this apps. release I had been running the ' light ' version. When I realized the full version of this app was out, I jumped right on it. Great decision! Besides, I had hours upon hours of enjoyment the Devs previously provided at no charge with the light version I felt compelled to pay them back in kind. Can't Miss App. 👍👍✌Update: For the reviewers that seem to have a problem with content or installation ....Simple, just read the information provided. There is a plethora of shows offered in every genre here. I subscribed for the yearly membership and had no problems whatsoever. If you do encounter a problem write to the Devs (before prematurely posting a negative comment) and they will reply immediately. Their very conscientious towards providing an app that people will enjoy, and they take this app very seriously.

I’ve downloaded multiple OTR apps over the last few years but this is the one that I come back to, time and time again. I’ve had to delete it on occasion to clear up space, but, without fail, I go and download it again shortly thereafter. I’ve heard every episode of most of the Crime & Detective stories and have been branching out. I appreciate that there is no censorship of the original ads (such as when shows are sponsored by cigarette companies) as I have encountered this on other apps and feel it detracts from the show as a whole. Thank you so much for making something so amazing available to us in a day and age where sitting and just listening to something on the radio is so uncommon. I didn’t grow up in the era when these shows originally were broadcast, but this makes me feel like I could have for a little while.
