The Stress First Aid app is a community resource that provides guidance and resources for individuals dealing with stress, and for leaders, family members, friends, and co-workers who know someone who is currently dealing with emotional stress or is in a crisis situation. This App is not a replacement for professional judgment of leaders and clinicians or indicated clinical care, and should not be used as a substitute for seeking professional help. UPDATED CRISIS CONTACTS
The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is now 988 — call or text, any time. The Veterans Crisis Line has been added (dial 988 then press 1, or text 838255). Every number and link in the app was re-checked against its source.
FASTER TO HELP
Both crisis numbers now sit at the top of the home screen, one tap from opening the app. Every phone number in the guidance is tappable.
READABLE
The Stress Continuum Model and the stress zone definitions used to be pictures of tables. They are real text now, so they scale with your chosen text size, can be selected and copied, and are read aloud correctly by VoiceOver.
Dark mode, and a new look throughout.
NOTHING IS COLLECTED
No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting, no account, no tracking. Nothing you read in this app leaves your device.
