A Clipboard Utillity Done Right

I found iClip years and years ago when I was working on my degree and needed a utility that allowed me manage my copy and pastes and especially be able to save snippets that I used all the time to be reused with a couple clicks as well as be able to go back to previous clips and reuse them. Other than the word processer I was using, it was the most used application on my mac when I was writing engineering papers and reorganizing them during edits and revisions as well as saving time by resuing snippits of text that I frequently retyped. It was lifesaver then. Many years later I still use it. Not to the same degree and not as intensive as frequently but it still is my go-to clipboard application and I use it many time per day. It doesn't take up space menu bar or dock. it stays hidden until I need it simply by moving my mouse to the edge of the screen. It is very well designed, it is incredibly feature rich. It works with issues and has for years and years. It is worth every penny.

I admit, I don’t use iClip to near its full potential but l found it useful when I had purchased a discounted software bundle and the provided registration keys were only available for 30 days. With iClip, I created a “Clip Set” e.g. Registration Keys, and copied and pasted each one to its own bin, with it’s own label and the set could be as large as needed and will remain there as long as needed, a clipboard but better. Almost any kind of data format can be accommodated be it image, weblink, text, etc. iClip is able to quickly store and recall with ease. Due to issues unrelated to this app, I had to create a new system disk and was able to simply drag my old iClip data folder set to the new System Library folder and I was back in business. I sure those more brilliant than me can imagine many more uses for this wonderful super value and super stable application. I’ve been using it through many MacOS iterations. It’s great. Buy it.

I don't remember when exactly, but I think I purchased iClip 3-4 years ago. Went through many Mac OS updates and iClip still works like a charm. Currently on macOS Catalina. This is my most used upility. I'm eBay power seller, plus running several on-line stores, so as you can imagine, I'm costantly re-using the same clips, phrases, email replies, and sentances. It saves me countless hours. I would categorize this utility as Business nessesaty and not just productive software. iClip is very easy to use, highly customizable and very light on processor. I love the fact that you can backup and restore Clips, arange them in Folders and Title them, choose the monitor you want it to appiare (I have 2 monitors), assigne mouse and keyboard shorcuts and many other customizations. Tried many other utilities, but iClip is the best, on my oppinion. By the way, I never had any issues or crashes... in the words of Apple "It just works!" Thanks developers for this extrimely usefull software.

An app I take for granted everyday. I set my preferences for iClip to open automatically at boot-up and it remains hidden until I need it, which is often. So simple to use, yet so very clever...simplicity and complexity built together. Copy as many clips as you wish; paste where you want, when you want; clear each clip individually or all in one click to free up your clipboard, or keep the clips permanently as you wish. Choose from several skin appearances and dock customization. The app clipboard remains out-of-the-way until you need it, then simply move your cursor to screen edge to activate it. Wala! Thank you iClip. No need to search for a better clipboard manager.

• Fixes a crashing issue on macOS 26 (Tahoe) • Fixes occasional "????" text in bins. • Turning off an app's checkbox in the Excluded Applications window works again. • Passwords puts into the clipboard by supported password managers are now properly ignored according to nspasteboard.org. This also adds two checkboxes in the Preferences for "Excluded Applications…" to control whether to record passwords ("concealed") and other data ("transient") from password managers and other clipboard managing apps. • The transparency setting in the Preferences works differently now: It makes the entire window transparent, making it less obstrusive – and once you interact with iClip, it becomes opaque. In order to adjust the old background transparency, hold down the option key.
