Good product minor adjustments needed

Functionally, BI always produces magazines that are informative if you want to learn about investing BI is a great place to start your education. the iPad version of the magazine is essentially the same as the paper edition with some user interface adjustments that the iPad allows. I would suggest some modifications going forward. First, I assume the text will improve as new editions are developed with the iPad in mind. Currently, the text is difficult to read on the original iPad unless you zoom in. This isn't a big deal overall. The other thing that would be nice is for the app to clearly seperate the downloaded editions from those that are not downloaded.I assume that the app will improve over time and these minor suggestions do not take away from the main thrust of the magazine. the magazine does what it has always set out to do and does it well overall. i would recommend it for the content, but advise you not to expect a great user interface (it is quite serviceable as is). Also, you would get a better value if you simply purchased a BI membership first.

Excellent Magazine, Mediocre App

For some reason, this app doesn't take advantage of the Newsstand which means it's not with the rest of your magazines and doesn't flag up when there is a new issue. Once opened, the store page layout is exceedingly poor--half the space is dedicated to the date and purchase buttons for each issue. If they moved the date above the issue and purchase buttons below, they would save nearly half the space allowing a whole year to be viewed on one screen. Better yet, they could enlarge the magazine icons by 10% and still fit 5 issues across. It is a shame such an excellent magazine has invested so little in app development.As of 2025, it has completely ceased to function.

BI on iPAD is a great move by BI magazine. Now you don't need to tag along a laptop if you need to read BI online. Plus all the past issues are neatly available from the first page. I can download the entire magazine and read it later on. I don't need to keep the old copies knowing all old copies are readily available on my iPAD.
