That is what I get with this app and the Holy Spirit always knows which one I need most! Thank you for the ministry this app provides. Not only does it strengthen my faith but it engages my children to read the Word too as they “take turns reading the verse to Mom”. The Word offered is so timely and the commentary doesn’t compromise accuracy of Scripture just to be “relevant”, but it still manages to be applicable (hence the conviction haha) ...And with every new phone this app is the first to get downloaded! Whether you’re just learning how to put your faith in Christ, with little Bible knowledge, or have been cultivating a relationship with Him through the Word for years this app will bless and challenge you with a sweet morsel of truth to chew on throughout the day!

Thank you for this app devotional! The daily bible verses and commentary help me to start each day with the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in my heart! I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and I feel spiritually strengthened each morning when I read the devotional. The commentary always provides encouragement and prayer along with reflection as to how to implement the verse in our daily lives. The language is very easy to relate to. I would love it if the app could include a second verse to go deeper into the Verse-A-Day. A second verse that I could read and then reflect and pray about in the evenings that works as further illumination for the first. Just a hopeful suggestion! 🤗✝️

My sister passed away in April 2012 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 43. During the 7 months I stayed with her after her diagnosis we would spend time reading the Bible every morning. She made me aware of this app and I downloaded it. My husband did also. It didn’t replace my Bible study. It is actually a reminder to me that I need to open my Bible each day. It’s easy to use and a simple way to have a jumpstart to each day. Sometimes I don’t do my “real Bible reading” until later in the day. 7 years with the app and loving it still.

My phone is my alarm clock so it sits on the edge of my nightstand (silent but for alarm). The Holy Spirit leads me to open this app first before any email or social media. I have opportunity to ponder what I’ve read through the day. Let’s be honey... most of our days are fraught with peril: disease, violence, accidents, etc. We need the reassurance that there is a God in Heaven who wants to be with us in every moment. The Word provides us with that. Thank you for a simple, effective, life-changing app!
