I am at 56 year old woman that to be honest I can read but I do not desire reading books however I do get into scripture because I am a Sunday school teacher and I love God enough to get close to him and he led me to a Bible app that is amazing it gives the Bible is a theatrical content that is totally text driven in the NIV version The name of the app is ”Bible off-line JFA “ and it’s the NIV translation. To get the sound translation it does cost $10 but it is worth every penny as it drives you close to the scripture. You just hit the sound icon and then read along with it. Elijah talking to Jezebel is in different voices and God has his own voice in it and there’s calm sounds behind it that makes you feel like you’re watching the actual scene and you’re reading text along with it when you click on the verse. I have gone to my own Bible in the NIV version and it is literal text of scripture.I want to reach out to people that need that because to be honest I literally read more chapters with reading along with this way then I have before and I know that’s embarrassing being as old as I am but it’s worth sharing due to desiring more people to draw near to God. This is one way that he’s given me to do just that! God is absolutely good!

I like the Bible reading app, I use mine every day. I like the versions that you can change to understanding the reading better, but sometimes I just want to highlight part of the verse instead of the whole, and it’s not possible. But overall it’s good.
